While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

'Israel' drone strike wipes out family of five people, in South Lebanon, including 3 kids killed

By Al-Mayadeen & Agencies, 21 September, 2025

An Israeli drone strike on Bint Jubail killed five people, including three children, and wounded others, escalating tensions along Lebanon’s southern border.

Five people, including three children, were killed and several others wounded on Sunday after an Israeli drone strike targeted a motorcycle in the southern Lebanese town of Bint Jubail, according to a preliminary toll released by the Health Emergency Operations Center at Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health.

The center said the raid also left multiple injuries, with victims transferred to nearby hospitals as rescue teams continued to search the area around the strike.

Among the martyrs were 3 kids of the Sharara family, their father Shadi, while their mother and older sister were heavily wounded and are currently under intensive care.

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that the drone hit the motorcycle in the town center. At the same time, Israeli forces fired flares over the skies of 'Aytaroun and launched additional flares between Yaroun and Maroun El-Ras, in a bid to ignite fires in the surrounding groves.

Separately, another drone dropped a bomb in the town of Kfar Kela during the funeral of 'Hasan Sha'hrour, who was killed in a Saturday airstrike on the Khardali area.

Portugal officially recognizes the State of Palestine, following UK, Canada, and Australia

NEW YORK, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel announced on Sunday evening that Portugal has officially recognized the State of Palestine, in a historic decision.

The announcement came just hours after the governments of the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia formally recognized Palestine earlier in the day. The coordinated moves were hailed as a landmark victory for international justice and the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.

Today's wave of recognitions signaled a turning point in the global consensus on Palestinian statehood, potentially paving the way for further countries to follow suit.

Britain, Canada and Australia officially recognize Palestinian statehood

RAMALLAH, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

The governments of Britain, Canada, and Australia announced on Sunday their official recognition of the State of Palestine, a historic move described as a victory for international justice and the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.

In separate statements, the three countries affirmed that the recognition comes in compliance with the principles of international law and United Nations resolutions, and embodies the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state on the June 4, 1967, borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said in a statement that this recognition is "a step towards reviving hope for a two-state solution," stressing that "this step is not a reward for Hamas, which has no role in a future Palestinian government." He added that the United Kingdom will impose further sanctions on Hamas leaders.

Meanwhile, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney affirmed that his country "supports the two-state solution as the way to achieve peace between Israelis and Palestinians," noting that this recognition "comes at a sensitive time, as the international community seeks to find a just and lasting solution to the conflict."

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stated that "Australia recognizes the right of the Palestinian people to establish their own independent state," adding that this recognition "reflects Australia's continued commitment to the two-state solution, which is the only way to achieve peace and security in the region."

Wave of international recognition of Palestine triggers political storm in Israel

RAMALLAH, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

In what observers describe as the most substantial diplomatic shift in years, Britain, Canada, and Australia officially recognized the State of Palestine on Sunday, joining 149 countries worldwide that have already taken this step.

The move marks a significant expansion of international support for Palestinian statehood and comes amid ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza and mounting global pressure on Israel over its policies in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Palestinian leadership welcomed the recognition as a natural outcome of decades of resilience and sustained diplomatic efforts, while in Israel, the announcements triggered a political storm spanning government, opposition, and settler circles.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reacted with fury, describing the recognition as “a massive prize for terrorism,” and vowing: “This will not happen. A Palestinian state will never be established west of the Jordan River.”

His comments set the tone for a wave of denunciations across the Israeli political spectrum, particularly among far-right members of his coalition. National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, leader of the extremist Jewish Power party, labeled the move “a prize for the murderers of women and children” and called for Israel to respond immediately by annexing the West Bank and dismantling the Palestinian Authority. He promised to push such proposals at the next cabinet meeting.

Ultranationalist Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich of the Religious Zionism party struck a similar chord, declaring: “The days when Britain and other countries decided our future are over. The only response to this hostile act is full sovereignty over the West Bank and the permanent removal of the Palestinian state idea from the agenda.” He directly challenged Netanyahu to act swiftly: “This is your responsibility, Mr. Prime Minister, and the time is now.”

Other cabinet members echoed the defiance. Culture Minister Miki Zohar (Likud) joined the call for annexation, while Education Minister Yoav Kisch said: “Israel will not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state whose aim is the destruction of the Jewish state. This is precisely the moment to impose sovereignty in the West Bank.”

Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana (Likud) lashed out at UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer personally, calling him “a newly appeased leader who chose disgrace.”

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar also rejected the recognitions as “wrong, provocative, and immoral,” accusing both the Palestinian Authority and Hamas of encouraging terrorism and asserting: “The future of the Land of Israel will not be determined in London or Paris, but here in Jerusalem.

Criticism was not limited to the ruling coalition. Former army chief and National Unity politician Gadi Eisenkot said recognizing Palestine now was “folly and a prize for terrorism,” arguing that it reflected “a massive political failure by the Netanyahu government.”

Former Defense Minister Benny Gantz (Blue and White) echoed this, warning that the move “strengthens Hamas and prolongs the war.”

Opposition leader Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid) described the recognitions as “a political disaster and a dangerous step.” He blamed the government for mishandling diplomacy, saying: “A responsible Israeli government could have prevented this through professional diplomatic work and sound political management. Instead, this government, which brought us the worst security disaster in Israel’s history, is now bringing us the worst political crisis.”

Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett told Sky News that “Starmer will not impose conditions on us.”

From the Israeli left, Yair Golan, head of the Democratic Party, criticized Netanyahu and Smotrich for “a dangerous political failure” but also called the recognitions “a destructive step” for Israel. He argued that they were “the direct result of occupation, expansion, and refusal to end the war,” and urged a political course that ends the conflict, frees Israeli hostages, and secures Israel through a regional agreement involving a demilitarized Palestinian state.

The political uproar was mirrored by settler mobilization on the ground. Israeli media reported that Defense Minister Israel Katz met with leaders of the settler council at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron on the eve of the recognitions, during Jewish New Year celebrations.

At the meeting, settler leaders demanded full annexation of the West Bank. Katz voiced support, reminding the audience that he was the first to propose a sovereignty law in the Knesset. “I believe this must be implemented properly with the Prime Minister,” he said, adding: “We are united, we are sending a clear security message, and we will act according to a clear policy.” He also celebrated the recent recognition of 22 new settlements by the government as part of what he called “a step toward sovereignty.”

The coordinated responses from Israeli leaders across government and opposition reveal a rare point of consensus: the growing international recognition of Palestine is to be countered not with concessions but with expanded settlement activity and potential annexation of the West Bank.

At the same time, the move by three influential Western countries—Britain, Canada, and Australia—signals a major diplomatic shift, raising pressure on Israel at a moment of deep political crisis and a never-ending war on Gaza.

Ten countries set to recognize State of Palestine as international peace summit approaches

RAMALLAH, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

On the eve of the high-level international conference on a peaceful resolution to the Palestinian question and the implementation of the two-state solution, co-led by Saudi Arabia and France, global attention is turning to ten countries expected to announce formal recognition of the State of Palestine.

This wave of recognition would bring the number of countries recognizing Palestine to 159 out of 193 United Nations member states.

At a press conference held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ramallah, Palestinian Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian confirmed on Sunday that the United Kingdom, Portugal, Australia, and Canada are very close to announce their recognition. She added that other countries—including Luxembourg, San Marino, Belgium, Andorra, France, and Malta—would follow suit in the coming days.

France

In France, President Emmanuel Macron stated in a post on X on Friday that he had informed President Mahmoud Abbas of France's intention to formally recognize Palestine on Monday. Macron had previously committed in a letter dated July 24 that France would make this declaration during the UN General Assembly in September.

United Kingdom

In the United Kingdom, Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced in July that Britain would recognize Palestine unless Israel took substantial steps to end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. On Sunday, Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy reaffirmed that recognition of Palestine must be part of a broader peace process. He said Prime Minister Starmer would finalize the decision later in the day.

Canada

Canada's recognition was confirmed in a phone call between Prime Minister Mark Carney and President Abbas on July 31. During the call, Carney said Ottawa would officially recognize the State of Palestine in September and affirmed Canada's commitment to working with international partners toward a peaceful two-state solution.

Australia

Australia also declared its position on August 11, with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese confirming that Canberra would recognize Palestine during the UN General Assembly. He said the move aims to support growing international momentum toward a two-state solution and a ceasefire in Gaza.

Belgium

Belgium’s Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot confirmed earlier this month that his country would also recognize Palestine during the UN General Assembly. In a post on social media, Prévot said Belgium would join the signatories of the New York Declaration, supporting a two-state solution.

Portugal

On Saturday, Portugal’s Foreign Ministry issued an official statement saying it would recognize the State of Palestine ahead of the UN General Assembly session, with the formal announcement scheduled for Sunday.

San Marino

San Marino's Foreign Minister Luca Beccari said on August 30 that his country planned to recognize Palestine during the upcoming peace summit in New York. He also expressed interest in strengthening bilateral relations, including plans to open a San Marino embassy in Palestine in the near future.

Andorra

France previously indicated that Andorra would also be among the countries recognizing the State of Palestine during this period.

Malta

Malta joined the list on Friday when its Deputy Foreign Minister delivered a letter to the Palestinian ambassador confirming the country's intention to recognize Palestine during the current UN General Assembly session. Prime Minister Robert Abela had already signaled Malta’s position in a July social media post, calling it a commitment to efforts for lasting peace in the Middle East.

Luxembourg

Luxembourg also confirmed its stance through a phone call on Friday between Prime Minister Luc Frieden and Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa. Frieden expressed his government’s full support for Palestinian statehood and the peaceful resolution of the conflict.

UNRWA: 1.9 million Palestinians forcibly displaced in the Gaza Strip

Sunday 21-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

UNRWA has said that 1.9 million people in the Gaza Strip have been displaced as a result of the ongoing Israeli military operations.

“For two years too long, UNRWA has been calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, the scale of suffering and destruction is unimaginable,” UNRWA added in social media remarks on Sunday.

Last Friday, the UNRWA reported that the cost of displacement from Gaza City to the south of the Strip is estimated at $3,180 per family.

The agency also pointed to extreme overcrowding in tented areas designated for Palestinians forcibly displaced by the Israeli army.

Progressive Alliance unanimously adopts resolution to end genocide and support Palestinian statehood

BUENOS AIRES, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) – The Progressive Alliance (PA) unanimously adopted a resolution on Sunday calling for an immediate end to the war in Gaza, the cessation of Israeli occupation, urgent humanitarian aid and reconstruction in the Strip, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The resolution was endorsed by all 40 member parties and political organizations representing different geopolitical regions around the world. It reaffirmed the alliance’s commitment to peaceful solutions and international law as a framework for achieving a just and lasting peace in the Middle East.

Participating remotely from Ramallah, Progressive Alliance’s Arab world representative Dr. Mu'hammed Ishtiyya delivered remarks via video conference. He outlined the scale of destruction, genocide, and famine resulting from the ongoing war in Gaza, as well as Israeli-imposed restrictions, settler expansion, and military incursions across the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem.

Ishtiyya referenced the PA’s previous declaration on Palestine and the Middle East, adopted in Santiago, Chile, on October 6, 2024, which laid out core principles for peace and justice in the region.

In its official statement, the PA Council reiterated its unified call for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, the protection of civilians, the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid, the reconstruction of Gaza, and the rejection of any forced displacement of Palestinians. It also reaffirmed the commitment to a political path based on international law, including the two-state solution on the June 4, 1967 borders, with Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Palestine, and the West Bank and Gaza recognized as a single territorial unit.

The statement emphasized the urgency of coordinated international action in response to the United Nations’ declaration of Gaza as a famine-stricken area. It expressed strong support for countries opposing forced displacement and called for a comprehensive plan to rebuild Gaza.

The council outlined several key political, legal, and economic priorities. Chief among these was the urgent demand for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza, alongside an end to mass killings and starvation. This call was framed in full compliance with the International Court of Justice’s provisional measures ruling of January 26, 2024, issued in the genocide case brought by South Africa against Israel.

The council also emphasized the unconditional release of hostages and the need for full respect for international humanitarian law. In addition, the council called for a halt to arms transfers and sales that contribute to operations violating international law. It urged effective international pressure on Israel, including the use of trade and economic measures, to ensure that it complies with its international legal obligations.

Regarding steps toward a just and lasting peace, the council advocated for the implementation of the International Court of Justice’s rulings related to ending the Israeli occupation. It also called for cooperation with the International Criminal Court, including enforcement of arrest warrants where applicable.

Support for United Nations resolutions was underscored as a necessary response to Israel’s ongoing non-compliance, particularly through actions to implement UN General Assembly Resolution 194, which upholds the right of return for Palestinian refugees.

The GPA further condemned efforts to obstruct Palestinian representation at the United Nations. This included criticism of the U.S. administration’s denial of entry to President Mahmoud Abbas and his delegation, a move deemed a violation of the UN Headquarters Agreement.

Finally, the GPA expressed strong support for international recognition of the State of Palestine. It urged countries to take concrete steps toward recognizing the State of Palestine based on the 1967 borders, with Jerusalem as its capital.

It also called for support for full Palestinian membership in the United Nations and for official recognition of the status of occupation. Central to these demands was the insistence on ensuring the right of return for Palestinian refugees in accordance with international law.

Italy excludes Israel from international tourism fair over ongoing aggression on Gaza

ROME, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

Italian authorities have decided to exclude Israel from participating in the upcoming international tourism fair TTG Travel Experience 2025, scheduled to take place in the city of Rimini from October 8 to 10. The move comes amid growing pressure from the city’s municipality and widespread public outrage over Israel’s ongoing genocidal onslaught on the Gaza Strip.

Rimini Mayor Jamil Sadegholvaad said the decision was made due to mounting security concerns and the risk of large-scale protests, as tensions continue to rise across Italy in response to the war on Gaza. He noted that allowing Israel's participation would have turned the event into a scene of significant demonstrations.

The exhibition’s organizer, Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), confirmed that the conditions for Israel’s participation were no longer valid. In a statement, the group said that Israel’s presence at the fair had become “morally and professionally inappropriate” in light of the ongoing destruction and loss of life in Gaza.

The company cited media coverage and official statements from Italian authorities, which emphasized that "promoting areas of war, devastation, and death as tourist destinations is ethically and professionally unacceptable."

IEG, which also manages the Rimini Fiera venue following a merger with Vicenza’s exhibition group, stated it had officially notified Israeli tourism board that its participation conditions had been revoked. The decision reflects the position of Rimini’s municipal government and the Emilia-Romagna regional authorities, under whose jurisdiction the event is held.

The TTG Travel Experience is one of the world’s leading tourism industry events, drawing major operators and stakeholders from around 70 countries. Israel’s exclusion follows a wave of demonstrations across Italy in solidarity with Palestine, as protesters and civic groups demand an end to cooperation with Israel and call for sanctions in response to the ongoing offensive in Gaza.

GAZA, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

At least 75 Palestinians were killed and 304 others injured in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours as the ongoing Israeli genocide in the region continues to claim innocent lives around the clock for the 24th month, according to medical sources.

Local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 2023 has risen to 65,283 fatalities, with an additional 166,575 people sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

In addtion, a total of 12,724 people have been killed and 54,534 others have been injured since the Israeli occupation army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, 2025.

The Ministry also reported that the death toll of the Palestinian aid seekers reached 2,523, as well as 18,473 injuries.

Emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to target ambulance and civil defense crews, according to the health authorities.

Israel's genocidal onslaught continues undeterred despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Israeli occupation army kills, injures dozens of civilians across Gaza

Sunday 21-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army continued, last night and on Sunday, to carry out intensive deadly strikes and target civilians in different areas of the Gaza Strip, mainly in Gaza City, where a large-scale military operation was launched recently.

According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate and bomb more homes and tents and displace families across the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine.

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including an airstrike on a group of people that killed eight of them and injured dozens in Gaza City’s El-Sidra area.

A civilian was reportedly shot dead by Israeli forces in El-Mughraqa town in central Gaza.

Medical sources at Al-'Awda Hospital in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp reported that it received the bodies of four martyrs and 23 wounded within the past 24 hours, including seven children and nine women, following Israeli strikes on displacement encampments in central Gaza.

An Israeli airstrike on an apartment also claimed the lives of four people and wounded several others in Gaza City’s Al-Daraj neighborhood.

A couple and their children were killed in another strike on a house in Gaza City’s al-Sabra neighborhood.

Local sources reported that the Israeli army committed a horrific massacre last night in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, resulting in at least 28 martyrs. The attack targeted three homes belonging to the families of Dughmush, Haddad, and Abu Mohsen, while many victims are still trapped under the rubble.

The Israeli army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women.

Meanwhile, several people were martyred or injured in Israeli attacks on aid seekers near distribution points in separate areas of Gaza.

Other Gazans were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks, according to Gaza’s health ministry today.

Casualties reported as Israeli airstrikes continue across Gaza City

GAZA, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

Several Palestinians were killed and others injured on Sunday as Israeli airstrikes continued to target multiple areas across Gaza City.

According to medical sources, one woman was killed and several others wounded when Israeli warplanes bombed Al-Sinaa Street in the southern part of the city.

In a separate attack, additional casualties were reported when Israeli forces struck a gathering of civilians in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. The exact number of fatalities and injuries remains unclear as rescue efforts continue amid ongoing bombardment.

Since Israel launched its war on Gaza in October 2023, over 65,200 Palestinians—the majority of them children and women—have been killed, with more than 166,200 injured, according to local health authorities. Thousands are also feared missing under the rubble.

Israel's genocidal onslaught continues unabated despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and address the deteriorated humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Gaza, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

Eight civilians, including four children and two women, were killed and 22 others, mostly women and children, were injured when Israeli occupation aircraft targeted a gathering of civilians in front of an UNRWA clinic in Al-Buraij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that Israeli aircraft also bombed Al-Malash Tower, south of Abu Yousuf El-Qawqa roundabout, behind the Al-Safa and Al-Marwa Mosque, in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced earlier today that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression, which began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 65,283 while 166,575 others were wounded.

They added that hospitals confirmed that 75 were killed and 304 were injured in the past 24 hours, while a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, with ambulances and civil defense crews unable to reach them.

Nine killed as Israeli airstrikes pound Gaza, ongoing attacks reported across the region

GAZA, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

At least nine Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in ongoing Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City since the early hours of Sunday morning, according to medical sources and eyewitnesses.

WAFA correspondents confirmed that four civilians were killed and others injured when Israeli warplanes targeted an apartment in a residential building belonging to the Al-Haddad family, near Al-Sha'biya Junction in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City.

Medical sources further reported that the overall death toll from multiple airstrikes on various neighborhoods in Gaza City since midnight has risen to nine. The number is expected to increase as rescue teams have been unable to retrieve those still missing under the rubble following strikes on the homes of the Dughmosh, Al-'Haddad, and Mohsen families in the Al-Sabra neighborhood.

In parallel with the airstrikes, Israeli artillery shelling has continued, and reports indicate that an explosive-laden armored vehicle was detonated in Al-Shaikh Radhwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.

Simultaneously, Israeli forces opened fire on civilians waiting for humanitarian aid near the Netzarim corridor in the central Gaza Strip. Continuous gunfire has also been reported in the vicinity of Wadi Gaza Bridge.

'Hamas: Israel’s use of vehicle-borne bombs in Gaza is an “act of ethnic cleansing”

Sunday 21-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has strongly denounced the Israeli occupation army’s use of booby-trapped armored vehicles in Gaza City, calling it a deliberate act of ethnic cleansing.

“The fascist Israeli army’s deployment of remote-controlled, explosive-laden armored personnel carriers in the Gaza Strip, each packed with tons of explosives and steered deep into residential neighborhoods before detonating them to maximize destruction and loss of life, constitutes a war crime that amounts to a full-fledged act of ethnic cleansing,” Hamas said in a statement on Saturday.

'Hamas pointed out that reports released recently by international human rights organizations affirmed the Israeli army’s detonation of nearly 120 vehicles carrying hundreds of tons of explosives in Gaza City’s neighborhoods within a single week, calling it “an unprecedented criminal scene in human history.”

“The world is witnessing horrific crimes being perpetrated by the government of war criminal Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, including its efforts to annihilate Gaza City and forcibly displace its residents through massacres and relentless bombardment. These crimes involve various methods of killing and extermination, foremost among them the use of remote-controlled booby-trapped personnel carriers,” Hamas said.

The Movement stressed the need for international action to put an end to Israel’s appalling crimes and hold Israeli war criminals accountable for their actions.

Severe drug shortage forces Gaza’s Kuwait Field Hospital to stop surgeries

Sunday 21-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital, operating in El-Mawasi area in southwestern Gaza, home to one million Palestinians, has announced the suspension of all scheduled surgical operations, limiting its services to life-saving procedures only due to a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies.

In a press statement on Sunday, the hospital said, “We announce, with deep regret, that we are forced to stop all scheduled surgical operations and limit our work to performing life-saving surgeries only.”

The hospital attributed this decision to the acute and ongoing shortage of medicines and medical supplies, as well as the deterioration of equipment and devices over the past two years, in addition to a massive shortfall in basic medical necessities including anesthetics, IV fluids, sterilization materials, and essential surgical tools.

It explained that this forced measure comes amid nearly two years of ongoing genocidal war and several months of continuous border closures, which have prevented the entry of any medical supplies or medicines into the Strip.

The hospital stressed that since Israel resumed its genocide in the Strip on March 18, it has not received sufficient medical aid to meet the growing needs, despite repeated appeals.

It warned of the grave consequences of this decision on thousands of wounded and sick patients who will be deprived of receiving specialized medical care, a situation that will worsen the health and humanitarian crisis in the southern part of the Strip and risks a total collapse of the healthcare system, particularly with the overcrowding of displaced people and the rising number of complex injuries.

The hospital called on relevant authorities and international organizations to immediately intervene to open humanitarian corridors to ensure the delivery of medicines and medical supplies and to help cover the hospital’s operating costs.

The Gaza Strip currently has eight field hospitals, established after the outbreak of the genocide to provide emergency services amid the continuous rise in injuries caused by Israel’s around-the-clock bombardment.

Rights center: 360 medical personnel from Gaza detained in Israeli prisons

Sunday 21-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestine Center for Prisoners Studies has reported that Israeli occupation forces have arrested over 360 members of Gaza’s medical and healthcare workforce since the genocidal war began on October 7, 2023. The Center noted that four of them died in custody due to torture and medical neglect.

In a statement released Sunday, the Center said that Israeli authorities continue to hold approximately 3,500 detainees from Gaza, including dozens of healthcare workers, doctors, paramedics, and administrators, most notably Dr. 'Hosam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in northern Gaza; Dr. Mu'hammed 'Obaid, head of reconstructive and orthopedic surgery; and Dr. Mu'hammed Zahir from the same hospital.

The report stated that Israeli forces had stormed several hospitals during military operations, including Kamal 'Udwan, Al-Shifa, Indonesian, Al-'Awda, and Nasser Hospitals, arresting both patients and medical staff, and even clearing out entire departments. Some paramedics were also arrested while performing their duties of rescuing and transporting the wounded in ambulances.

Among the medical staff who died in Israeli custody were Dr. 'Adnan A'hmed Al-Bursh, head of orthopedic surgery at Al-Shifa Hospital, Dr. Iyad Al-Ranteesi, head of obstetrics at Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, paramedic 'Hamdan 'Hasan Enaya from Khan Younus, and nurse Ziyad Mu'hammed Al-Dalu from Al-Shifa Hospital

The Center emphasized that the arrest of healthcare workers constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and humanitarian agreements, which criminalize targeting medical personnel during armed conflict. It called on the World Health Organization and Doctors Without Borders to intervene urgently, protect medical staff, and push for the release of detainees, particularly Dr. Abu Safiya, who is reportedly in deteriorating health condition at Ofer Prison.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces, fully backed by the United States, are waging a campaign of genocide in Gaza, with 65,283 people killed, 166,575 injured, and over 9,000 missing, according to ongoing estimates. A devastating famine has claimed hundreds of lives, and more than 2 million Palestinians are now displaced, living in catastrophic conditions amid total destruction.

IOFs raid homes, kidnap several Palestinians in the West Bank

Sunday 21-September-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched a raid and kidnapping campaign overnight and early Sunday, targeting various cities and towns across the West Bank.

According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped Ibraheem El-'Aasi, the mayor of Qarawat Bani 'Hasan town in Salfeet, after a Palestinian truck removed a concrete block placed by Israeli forces at the road barrier near the main entrance of the town.

In Qalqilya, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the city’s Kafr Saba neighborhood, provoking clashes with local youths.

In Nablus, the IOFs stormed different areas of the province and kidnapped at least five citizens from their homes.

In Toulkarm, at least seven citizens were taken prisoner following IOFs raids on homes in towns located in the north of the province.

In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), four citizens were kidnapped from their homes in separate areas of the Province.

In Jineen, the IOFs carried out kidnappings and interrogated young men during a raid in Jaba' town, southwest of the Province.

The Israeli occupation forces also stormed other areas of the West Bank and raided homes, with no reported kidnappings.

Former Palestinian Arab lawmaker in the Israeli Knesset, 'Haneen El-Zo'bi, detained by the Israeli police in Al-Nasra (Nazareth)

Al-Nasra (Nazareth), September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli police detained the former Palestinian Arab member of the Israeli Knesset, 'Haneen El-Zo'bi, early Sunday morning after raiding her home in the city of Al-Nasra (Nazareth), located in the Galilee region of the 1948 territories, citing allegations of “incitement to terrorism.”

According to Dr. 'Hasan Jabbareen, director of the 'Adalah Legal Center, El-Zo'bi was taken for interrogation in city of Tabariya (Tiberias). He added that El-Zo'bi she was being investigated on alleged charges of incitement to terrorism and support for organizations designated as terrorist by the Israeli authorities.

He criticized the manner of the detention, stating, “It is clear to me that this detention is unlawful. She could have been summoned in a regular and proper way, with a scheduled time and place for questioning, instead of being detained at her family home in the early morning, accompanied by six police officers, over such allegations.”

Jabbareen added that the legality of the detention itself would be a central focus of the legal proceedings if the authorities seek to extend her detention.

El-Zo'bi, a prominent Palestinian political figure in Israel, has long been known for her outspoken positions on Israeli policies and advocacy for Palestinian rights.

Israeli occupation forces storm Sibestya archaeological site ahead of colonial park opening

NABLUS, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces stormed the archaeological site in the village of Sibestya, northwest of Nablus, on Sunday morning in preparation for the official opening of the so-called Samaria Park, a colonial project set to launch later in the day.

During the raid, Israeli forces assaulted journalist Khalid Budair and his colleague, photojournalist Shadi Jarar'ah, while they were covering the military presence in the area. The two were searched, temporarily detained, and had some of their press equipment confiscated. They were also prevented from filming and threatened with detention if they remained in the area or attempted to continue reporting.

Mu'hammed 'Aazim, head of the Sibestya Municipal Council, confirmed that Israeli forces have maintained a presence in the village since the morning hours, clearing the area in preparation for the evening inauguration of the colonial project.

Last month, Israeli authorities posted notices on utility poles throughout Sebastya declaring the transformation of 1,775 dunums of the town’s land—approximately one-third of its total area—into what they are calling an “Israeli archaeological site,” as part of the broader Samaria Park project.

Sibestya has been facing growing threats of land confiscation and settlement expansion under various pretexts. Local officials and residents view these moves as part of a larger, systematic effort to erase Palestinian historical presence and to impose Israeli control over heritage sites in the occupied West Bank.

In July 2024, Likud Knesset member Amit Halevi proposed a bill to annex all archaeological sites in the West Bank to the Israeli Antiquities Authority. The bill, which has since been referred to the Knesset’s Education and Culture Committee, is based on false historical claims.

Sibestya is widely recognized for its rich archaeological heritage, including the ancient Roman colonnaded street, the tomb and mosque of Prophet Ya'hya, a Roman-era episcopal palace, an amphitheater, court structures, a royal Roman-era cemetery, and Palestine’s only remaining Hellenistic tower. The village is now facing what local leaders describe as one of the most dangerous waves of Judaization efforts targeting its historical and cultural landmarks.

Hordes of of the illegal Israeli settlers started to desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards early Sunday morning under heavy protection from Israeli police forces.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers in the eastern area of the Mosque.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site.

In a related context, settler groups are reportedly preparing for two days of mass break-ins at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound starting tomorrow to mark what they call the Hebrew new year.

Illegal Israeli extremist settlers seize house in Hebron, raise Israeli flags over it

Sunday 21-September-2025

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), WEST BANK, (PIC)

A group of the illegal Israeli extremist settlers seized a Palestinian home on Sunday evening in the Old City of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), located in the southern occupied West Bank, nd raised Israeli flags over it.

According to local sources, dozens of armed settlers took control of a room and its surrounding area in the Jabari neighborhood. The property belongs to Palestinian citizen 'Akka Abdul Majeed Al-Jabari. The settlers raised Israeli flags over the home.

It is worth noting that earlier this month, settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, seized another house belonging to the Nasr family, adjacent to the old municipality building in al-Khalil.

Amid Israel’s ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army and settlers have intensified their attacks across the occupied West Bank, including in Occupied Jerusalem. According to Palestinian data, at least 1,018 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 7,000 others wounded, with over 18,500 arrested in the West Bank since October 2023.

Illegal Israeli settlers assault Palestinian family in Dair Jareer, east of Ramallah

RAMALLAH, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers physically assaulted a Palestinian family on Sunday in the village of Dair Jareer, east of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, injuring several members, including an elderly man.

Eyewitnesses reported that settlers attacked 70-year-old Sadiq Ma'ali Farkhana and his sons while they were near their home in the 'Harayiq area on the eastern outskirts of the village. The family was beaten severely, sustaining bruises and cuts to their heads and hands.

The assailants also vandalized a nearby vehicle, smashing its windows during the attack.

Earlier in the day, colonists had released their livestock onto Palestinian farmland in the same area, causing significant damage to crops and fruit trees. The attack is part of an ongoing, state-funded campaign of colonist violence and harassment targeting agricultural lands and pastures, aimed at forcing Palestinians to abandon their property and make way for settlement expansion.

These acts of violence follow a deadly incident just over a week ago, when colonists opened fire on a group of young men between Dair Jareer and the neighboring town of Silwad, killing 21-year-old Mu'hammed 'Eisa Alawi.

Illegal Israeli settlers assault Palestinian vehicle near Ramallah, steal personal belongings

RAMALLAH, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian vehicle on Sunday near the village of 'Atara, northwest of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank, causing damage and stealing personal items.

Local sources reported that the vehicle, belonging to a Palestinian resident of the village of Yatma, south of Nablus, was assaulted while passing near a newly established colonial outpost on land belonging to 'Atara.

The attackers smashed the car’s windows and reportedly stole the driver's mobile phone and a sum of money before fleeing the scene.

The same sources noted that Israeli colonists had set up the new outpost on August 11 on land confiscated from the village of 'Atara, contributing to the growing tension and danger faced by Palestinians in the area.

Such attacks have become increasingly frequent in recent years, particularly in areas near illegal outposts in the occupied West Bank. Rights groups and United Nations agencies have repeatedly warned of the growing threat posed by settler violence against Palestinian civilians and property, often carried out under the protection of the Israeli military.

Despite being illegal under both Israeli and international law, settler outposts have proliferated, contributing to the displacement of Palestinian communities, the destruction of agricultural lands, and a broader climate of fear and intimidation.

Foreign Minister: Historic day ahead as more countries move to recognize the State of Palestine

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Varsen Aghabekian

RAMALLAH, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Varsen Aghabekian, said on Sunday that Palestine stands at the threshold of a significant and eventful week, with the international community turning its attention to the Palestinian cause.

Speaking at a press conference held at the Foreign Ministry headquarters in Ramallah, Aghabekian emphasized that the Palestinian government's top priorities at this stage are ending the genocide and starvation in Gaza, preventing forced displacement, and ensuring protection for the Palestinian people.

She noted that the international community is increasingly united in its support for Palestinian rights, and that Palestinian diplomacy is focused on mobilizing the broadest possible backing for these rights.

The Foreign Minister announced that a number of countries are expected to recognize the State of Palestine in the coming two days, describing such recognition as a legal and natural right that carries a message of hope to the Palestinian people for a free and sovereign state.

She said the move also reflects international support for the Palestinian leadership and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, as well as for the global camp that believes in peace and the two-state solution.

Aghabekian stressed that international recognition of the State of Palestine affirms that Israel has no sovereignty over Palestinian land. She expressed gratitude to the countries that have already recognized Palestine and those preparing to do so, urging all others to follow suit.

“The occupation is the root cause of instability in the region and the suffering of the Palestinian people,” she said. “It must come to an end.” The minister noted that 149 countries now recognize the State of Palestine.

She thanked the countries that have already recognized Palestine and those about to do so, urging others to join them. “The occupation is the source of instability and suffering in the region and beyond. It must end,” she reiterated.

Aghabekian also called on the international community to publicly expose and confront Israel’s crimes, stating that silence from some governments can only be interpreted as complicity. She urged the world to take decisive action to halt the destruction, genocide, and mass killings being carried out against the Palestinian people.

She stressed that the genocide in Gaza is unfolding in parallel with ongoing aggression and violations across the West Bank, revealing Israel’s true intention to keep the region in a state of escalating tension.

Responding to a question about threats surrounding the wave of recognitions, Aghabekian said these threats are tied to the international expectations outlined in the New York Declaration, which calls on states to take practical steps to deter the occupation.

She emphasized that these recognitions are expanding and strengthening international support for the Palestinian cause, especially as they come from influential states with political weight.

Regarding plans for Gaza in the post-war period, Aghabekian affirmed that any proposal must include the Palestinian National Authority as the sole legitimate body with the right to govern the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes decision by UK, Canada and Australia to recognize State of Palestine

RAMALLAH, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the decisions of the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia to recognize the State of Palestine, describing them as "courageous decisions that are consistent with international law and international legitimacy resolutions, and stem from these countries' commitment to ending the occupation and achieving peace, ensuring security, stability, and prosperity for the region and the world."

In a press statement issued Sunday evening, the Ministry expressed its gratitude to these countries, affirming the State of Palestine and its legitimate government's readiness to begin building "strongest and most sincere relations with them at all levels."

The Ministry considered these recognitions to be a recognition of the just and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and contribute to protecting the two-state solution from the dangers resulting from the continued crimes of the occupation, including genocide, starvation, displacement, and annexation.

It also provides additional momentum to regional and international efforts, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the French Republic, to implement the "New York Declaration," achieve an immediate cessation of hostilities, resolve the conflict through political and negotiated means, and restore respect for international law and international legitimacy in peacemaking, instead of the "arrogance of force."

The Ministry called on countries that have not yet recognized the State of Palestine, particularly the United States, to take the initiative to recognize and adhere to international law and the Advisory Opinion issued by the International Court of Justice, and to stand on the "right side of history" to ensure that the injustice against the Palestinian people is lifted and that they are empowered to exercise their right to self-determination, as is the case with other peoples of the world.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that an immediate cessation of the Israeli war against the Palestinian people in all its forms and manifestations constitutes "the correct approach to achieving calm, building confidence, and restoring a political horizon for resolving the conflict."

CAIRO, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Arab Parliament welcomed the historic decision announced by Britain, Australia, and Canada to officially recognize the State of Palestine, stressing that this step represents a new victory for the legitimate Palestinian cause and a clear reflection of the international will to reject the continued Israeli occupation and its aggressive practices.

He pointed out that this bold step by the three countries embodies their respect for international law and relevant UN resolutions.

Al-Yamahi stressed that this historic development represents a strong message to the international community urging effective action to end the occupation and halt its crimes against the Palestinian people, and to create the necessary conditions for achieving a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.

He reiterated the Arab Parliament's firm position in support of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the establishment of their independent, sovereign state, and in mobilizing recognition of the State of Palestine as the right path to achieving security and stability in the region.

Rights Group: Escalating Israeli aggression in Gaza heightens missing persons crisis

Sunday 21-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Center for the Missing and Forcibly Disappeared expressed deep concern over the growing risk of more civilians going missing in Gaza City, as Israel’s ongoing military assault expands with relentless bombardment and mass evacuation orders.

In a statement on Sunday, the center said that Israeli military operations in Gaza’s southern, eastern, and northern neighborhoods ongoing for nearly six weeks and peaking in recent days with intensified evacuation orders, strikes on high-rise buildings, and the use of explosive-laden vehicles inside residential areas threaten to worsen the crisis of the missing.

The center reported receiving information from families who said they were forced to leave relatives behind because they had no safe alternatives and are now unable to contact them due to communication blackouts and ongoing military activity.

According to the center, the phenomenon of missing persons is rooted in repeated Israeli incursions over the past two years, during which thousands of Palestinians were arrested and forcibly disappeared, hundreds were killed and left under the rubble or in invasion zones, and others were buried in mass graves or had their bodies taken to unknown locations.

The statement also warned that Israeli evacuation orders are pushing thousands of families to flee their homes in haste, leaving behind loved ones under the rubble or unaccounted for, with no way to search for them under heavy bombardment.

Civil defense crews, it added, face severe obstacles due to a lack of fuel and suitable vehicles and equipment, preventing them from reaching hundreds of targeted sites. This increases the likelihood that large numbers of victims remain trapped under the debris without urgent humanitarian intervention. The ongoing operations also lead to more cases of families losing all contact with their members.

The rights center called on the international community, including the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross, to take immediate action to ensure that rescue and relief teams can reach the affected areas.

It urged pressure on Israel to stop the forced evacuation orders, which are worsening the crisis of the missing and putting civilian lives at even greater risk.

The center warned that continued international silence over these violations will lead to a compounded humanitarian disaster not only through loss of life but also by creating a grim reality where tens of thousands of Palestinian families remain in limbo, not knowing the fate of their loved ones.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
