While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Israeli airstrikes target Yemen’s San'aa, 'Amran

Tuesday 6-May-2025

SANA’A, (PIC)

Intensive Israeli airstrikes struck Yemen’s capital Sana’a and the northern city of 'Amran on Tuesday afternoon.

Local media reported thick black smoke rising over both San'aa and 'Amran following the Israeli attacks. In Sana’a, the strikes hit San'aa International Airport, the Dthahban power plant, and two alleged military sites.

In 'Amran, about 60 kilometers to the north of the capital, airstrikes reportedly targeted a cement factory.

The Israeli occupation army later said it had carried out the strikes, claiming it rendered the airport inoperable, and that another target, the cement factory in 'Amran, was used by Yemen’s 'Houthi (Ansarullah) group for military purposes.

Minutes before the strike, an Israeli army spokesperson issued a warning on social media platform X, urging people in the airport area to evacuate immediately.

The Israeli occupation army said its strikes were in response to a missile launched by 'Houthis on Sunday at the Lod (Ben Gurion) Airport near Tel Aviv. The missile caused four light injuries and some damage, according to Israel’s emergency services. Yemen’s armed forces, which are controlled by the Ansarullah group in northern Yemen, said the missile attack on the Israeli airport was in retaliation for the ongoing genocidal war on Gaza.

Tuesday’s airstrikes followed a series of Israeli attacks on Yemen’s Hodeida province a day earlier, which killed at least four people and wounded 39 others. The airstrikes hit the port city of Hodeida, its airport, a cement factory, and alleged military sites in the northeast of the city, causing significant infrastructure damage.

Yemen’s armed forces, which are labeled as “'Houthis” by international media, have been targeting Israel since November 2023 in what they describe as acts of solidarity with Palestinians. The group always affirms that it will halt its counterattacks if the Israeli occupation regime ends its war and blockade on Gaza.

Meanwhile, Yemen’s armed forces have announced that air navigation at Israeli airports is no longer safe, stating that their missile strikes will continue as part of their support for the Palestinians in Gaza.

The Yemeni army’s Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center (HOCC) also announced in an official statement on Tuesday that the comprehensive blockade on Israeli airports came into effect as of May 4 in the evening, and would remain in place until further notice, in response to the Israeli military escalation in Gaza.

HOCC called on international airlines to suspend flights to and from Israeli airports, warning that they would bear full responsibility if they ignored this warning.

The statement stated that this measure is “based on the annexes of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), particularly Annex 19, which mandates reporting high-risk areas to ensure aviation safety.”

Meanwhile, the Yemeni government in Sana’a affirmed that Yemen is engaged in the battle of “Promised Victory and Sacred Jihad” against the Israeli, US, and British aggression.

The government emphasized that Yemen would remain an active player in this confrontation and continue to develop its military capabilities.

The government affirmed that Yemen’s support for Gaza would continue until the Israeli aggression stops and the siege is lifted, stressing that “its involvement in this battle stems from deep-seated and unwavering humanitarian and religious principles.”

It emphasized that its measures aim to protect civilians and international aviation, urging the international community to pressure Israel to end its war crimes in Gaza.

  Israeli air strikes target Yemen

Tuesday 6-May-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Israeli warplanes launched heavy air raids on vast areas across Yemen on Monday evening.

According to Israel’s Channel 12, more than 30 Israeli Air Force aircraft carried out extensive attacks on Yemen.

Yemeni media reported that joint American-Israeli strikes targeted Bajil District in Hudaydah, western Yemen, alongside six air raids on HudayIdah’s port.

The news site Axios quoted an Israeli official as saying that the strikes were in retaliation for a missile launched by Ansar Allah (the Houthis), which exploded at Ben Gurion Airport on Sunday, causing a major blast, multiple injuries, and the cancellation of numerous foreign airline flights.

At the same time, Channel 13 cited a military source as saying that the current raids in Yemen were a repeat of previous strikes and were unlikely to halt the 'Houthis’ missile launches.

UNRWA: 66,000 children in Gaza suffer from severe malnutrition

Tuesday 6-May-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that more than 66,000 children in the Gaza Strip are suffering from severe malnutrition due to the ongoing Israeli starvation policy, amid two-month blockade of food and aid.

UNRWA spokesman 'Adnan Abu 'Hasna added in a press statement on Tuesday that hundreds of thousands of Palestinians eat one meal every two or three days.

Since March 2, the occupation forces have closed the crossings with the Gaza Strip to food, relief and medical aid and goods, causing a significant deterioration in the humanitarian situation.

The famine-related deaths have risen to 57 since the start of the war of extermination, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health, which warned that the number would increase given the closure of the crossings and the two-month blockade of aid and food.

Palestinian government and UN officials have repeatedly warned of the repercussions of Israel’s ongoing closure of the crossings and the two-month blockade.

According to the Hebrew news site, Walla, the Israeli cabinet approved a plan to resume the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip through an international fund and private companies, a mechanism that has been widely rejected by the Palestinian side and international institutions as a violation of humanitarian principles.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher have previously stated that the UN agency will not participate in any plan that does not adhere to the universal principles of humanitarianism, impartiality, independence, and neutrality.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli occupation forces have been waging a continuous aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 52,567 citizens, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 118,610 others, according to preliminary figures, as a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets because ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them.

PGMO warns of complete collapse of Gaza hospitals within 48 hours

Tuesday 6-May-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza has warned that hospitals in the Strip are on the verge of collapse within 48 hours due to the Israeli ongoing siege and the prevention of international institutions from accessing fuel.

In a statement on Monday, the PGMO condemned the Israeli occupation’s deliberate prevention of international and UN institutions from accessing fuel stores designated for hospitals, under the pretext that they are located in so-called “red zones”, in a move that is considered a continuation of the crime of siege and deliberate starvation.

The Ministry of Health announced Sunday that the available fuel supplies are sufficient for only three days, which means that hospitals are 48 hours away from complete collapse, including intensive care units, nurseries, and operating rooms, which portends an unprecedented health and humanitarian disaster.

The statement denounced the systematic crime of blocking fuel delivery to hospitals, considering it a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, a blatant breach of the Geneva Conventions, and a direct contribution to further deepening the health disaster.

The PGMO held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for this deliberate crime, as well as the countries supporting and taking part in the genocide, foremost among them the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, for their complicity in this mass crime.

It called on the international community and international humanitarian and medical institutions to take urgent and immediate action to prevent the collapse of the health system in the Gaza Strip and to save lives that are on the brink of death due to starvation and fuel and electricity shortages.

Tuesday 6-May-2025

GAZA, (PIC, WAFA)

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, on Tuesday, a total of 2,507 people have been killed and 6,711 others have been injured since the Israeli occupation army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, 2025.

The new fatalities increased the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, to 52,615 martyrs, the health ministry stated.

The ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 118,752 people.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway to recover the bodies of more martyrs who are still missing in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

Dozens killed and injured as Israel targets school-turned-shelter in central Gaza

GAZA, May 6, 2025 (WAFA) –

Dozens of Palestinian civilians were killed and injured on Tuesday evening as Israeli bombing targeted a school-turned-shelter to the east of al-Buraij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that an Israeli airstrike targeted Abu 'Hamisa school, sheltering displaced civilians to the east of the refugee camp, killing at least 18 civilians and injuring dozens of others.

He added that fatalities and casualties were rushed to Al-Aqsa Hospital in Dair El-Bala'h as well as to Al-'Awda Hospital in Al-Nusayrat.

He continued that among the fatalities were at least seven children, pointing out that the bodies of slain Palestinians were hurled into the air above the school buildings due to the intensity of bombardment.

Meanwhile, medical sources said that rescue and emergency teams were attempting to pull the bodies of the fatalities and casualties trapped under the rubble.

Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing hundreds of Palestinians, including over 100 children.

The death toll reached at least 2,507 with 6,711 others wounded, according to medical sources. Emergency teams are attempting to recover victims still trapped beneath the rubble.

Since the dawn hours of today, Tuesday, Israeli airstrikes have killed 37 civilians across the Strip. In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 48 slain Palestinians and 142 casualties were admitted to hospitals in the Strip.

The aggression was resumed amidst concerns over the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Strip given the ongoing siege and ban on the entry of medical and humanitarian aid.

Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 52,615 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 118,752 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

On day 578: Key developments in the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza

Tuesday 6-May-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued their genocide campaign against the Gaza Strip, now entering its 578th day since the onset of aggression. This follows Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s repudiation of the ceasefire agreement, with Israel resuming its offensive 50 days ago, backed by unwavering political and military support from the United States, amid unprecedented international silence and failure.

The PIC correspondent reported that the IOF troops have launched dozens of air raids, while the devastating effects of Israel’s blockade on basic food supplies—enforced since early March—are visibly worsening the famine faced by Gaza’s population.

Latest Developments:

Tariq 'Ali Mu'hammed Al-Maghrabi succumbed to injuries sustained in a previous Israeli airstrike on the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younus.

Nine-year-old Mu'adth Abdul Ra'hman Suleiman Al-Amour was martyred after succumbing to wounds from an Israeli airstrike on a home in Al-Fukhari, east of Khan Younu, in southern Gaza.

Basheer Mu'hammed 'Atwa Al-'Umour, 45, was killed this morning by an Israeli drone strike in the Al-Amour neighborhood in Al-Fukhari.

Israeli artillery stationed east of Gaza City heavily shelled the northern areas of the Strip and eastern parts of the city this morning.

Israeli occupation apartheid regime naval vessels opened fire towards the shores of the Al-Soudaniya area, northwest of Gaza City.

The Israeli occupation army demolished residential buildings in the northern Gaza Strip.

Two Palestinians were martyred, and others were wounded, when Israeli warplanes bombed the home of the 'Hamdan family near Al-Sawwari'ha School, north of Al-Zawayida town in central Gaza. The martyrs were identified as Ihab 'Hamdan (Abu Mu'hammed) and Nadtheera Al-Louqa 'Hamdan (Umm Mu'hammed).

Israeli artillery targeted northern areas of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Young girl 'Aaysha 'Hammam Abu Nar was martyred, and others were injured, after Israeli forces bombed a tent sheltering displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younu.

A civilian was injured when Israeli forces shelled a residential flat in Khan Younu refugee camp shortly after midnight.

Jabalya municipality warns of imminent catastrophe due to waste accumulation

Tuesday 6-May-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Jabalya Al-Nazla Municipality warned on Tuesday of the growing accumulation of waste within its jurisdiction, with its teams unable to collect and dispose of it properly amid the ongoing dire situation in the Gaza Strip — raising fears of an imminent public health and environmental disaster.

In a press statement, the municipality said: “Our teams are unable to collect and dispose of waste as required, due to the main landfill sites being located within areas now controlled by the Israeli army.”

It added that, as a result, crews are being forced to use temporary and random dumping sites, with the situation worsened by the destruction of more than 90% of the municipality’s vehicles and equipment due to repeated Israeli airstrikes on its facilities and garages, particularly the deliberate targeting on 22 April 2025.

The municipality explained that the mounting waste crisis now poses a major threat of a looming health and environmental catastrophe in Jabalya, particularly in light of the severe weakening of Gaza’s already fragile healthcare system as a result of the continued assault and the blockade preventing the entry of essential medical supplies.

The municipality called on all international and humanitarian organizations to urgently intervene, to pressure for an end to the Israeli aggression and to facilitate the entry of the necessary machinery and equipment, in order to avert the looming disaster and to ease the suffering of the residents of Jabalia and the Gaza Strip in general.

Israeli forces assault Palestinians near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, May 6, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening assaulted Palestinians in Turmus 'Ayya town, north of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to local sources.

They said that the Israeli occupation forces barged their way into the town, assaulted civilians, and withheld the ID cards of media personnel who attempted to cover the raid.

They added that the Israeli occupaiton soldiers stormed the town at a time when illegal Israeli settlers congregated in the area.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

Three Palestinians injured, others kidnapped in IOFs West Bank raids

Tuesday 6-May-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Three Palestinian civilians sustained bruises and fractures, and several others were arrested during Israeli military raids at dawn Tuesday across various areas of the West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) assaulted three citizens in the town of 'Abwein, north of Ramallah, resulting in injuries, including bruises and fractures.

Meanwhile, the IOFs kidnapped the young man Mahdi Fawwaz Khalaf after raiding his home and ransacking its contents during their incursion into the town.

In Nablus, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped former political prisoner Wa-il Al-Jaghoub—who had been released in the “Al-A'hrar Flood” deal—after storming his house.

The IOFs also raided the Rafeedya neighborhood west of Nablus, as well as the eastern suburbs and Balata refugee camp to the east of the city.

Local sources reported that the IOFs entered Balata town, searched several homes, and also stormed Joseph’s Tomb, east of Nablus.

In Toulkarm, the IOFs kidnapped two young men overnight after raiding the Dthinnaba suburb east of the city and the southern neighborhood.

Local sources confirmed that the Israeli occupation soldiers kidnapped Wisam 'Isam 'Ouda from his home in Toulkarm’s southern neighborhood. They also invaded Dthinnaba, patrolling its main streets, particularly near the Shari'a School, 'Haleema Khuraisha School, and around the “Infant Incubator Center” area, where they stopped and searched vehicles, interrogated passengers, and assaulted several individuals before kidnapping A'hmed Al-'Attar.

In a related development, Israeli military vehicles spread throughout the streets of Toulkarm, particularly around Thabit Thabit roundabout, Al-'Haddadeen Street, the “Al-'Alami” Courthouse Street, and Nablus Street, especially the section linking Toulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps, severely disrupting the movement of citizens and vehicles.

Israeli occupation forces demolish more homes in Nour Shams refugee camp

Toulkarm, May 7, 2025 (WAFA) –

On the 87th consecutive day of aggression, Israeli occupation demolished more homes and residential buildings in the Nour Shams refugee camp, east of the occupied West Bank city of Toulkarm, according to WAFA correspondent.

She said that the occupation forces escorted a D-10 bulldozer into the refugee camp, where the heavy machinery tore down more homes and residential buildings in the Al-Jami' neighborhood and the surrounding area.

This came after the occupation forces announced their preparations to demolish 19 buildings comprising over 50 apartments in the refugee camp neighborhoods of al-Jami‘ and al-Maslakh, and gave Palestinian residents just a few hours notice to vacate their belongings.

The homes slated to be demolished belonged to over 18 families, including the Ghannam, 'Ulayyan, Khalifa, 'Omar, Shi'hada, Abu Jaish, 'Aql, Jarrar, Qarawi, Al-Sayis, Al-Najjar, Abu Sala'h, and Sali'h families.

Since morning, residents of the camp have rushed to retrieve their belongings from their houses. However, they were harassed, detained, assaulted and subjected to interrogation by Israeli soldiers deployed in the camp's neighborhoods.

On Thursday, May 1, the occupation forces issued demolition orders for 106 houses and buildings in the Nour Shams and Toulkarm refugee camps.

'Abdullah Kameel, governor of Toulkarm, confirmed the orders target 58 buildings in Tulkarm refugee camp and 48 houses in Nour Shams camp. Kmeil described the intended demolitions as a crime against humanity and asked the international community and human rights organizations to intervene immediately.

The ongoing Israeli aggression has forcibly displaced over 4,200 families, totaling more than 25,000 citizens, from the Toulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps. The occupation forces have also completely destroyed 396 homes, partially damaged 2,573 others, and sealed off entrances with earth mounds.

Irish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Simon Harris said he is "deeply appalled and disgusted by Israel's continued blocking of humanitarian aid into Gaza."

In a speech at the Ireland Global Summit 2025, he added that "the conflict in the Middle East is a priority for him and the Irish government."

UN rapporteur says cutting off drinking water to Gaza is equivalent to dropping ‘silent but lethal bomb’

NEW YORK, May 6, 2025 (WAFA) –

A United Nations rapporteur said on Tuesday that cutting off by Israel of drinking water to Gaza was equivalent to dropping a ‘silent but lethal bomb’.

“Cutting off drinking water to the population is equivalent to dropping a terrible silent bomb on them ... silent but lethal,” Pedro Arrojo-Agudo, the UN Special Rapporteur on the human rights to safe drinking water and sanitation, said in an interview with Anadolu Agency.

He added that the 2.1 million Palestinians trapped in the genocide-stricken Gaza Strip were enduring a critical water crisis, particularly that nearly 70% of the enclave’s water infrastructure had been destroyed by Israeli occupation forces.

He asserted that this left “almost all of the population with either minimal access to water or water that is dangerously contaminated.”

He pointed out that Israel has enforced a near-total blockade on food, water, electricity, and other essentials since October 2023 and denied fuel needed to operate desalination plants and wells, causing the crisis to spiral out of control.

He said Israel’s deliberate destruction of water systems amounts to using water as a weapon.

“Water is being used as a weapon, but not against another army or militia, but against the population,” he said.

“In fact, this is not just in Gaza. Water is a key element of the war strategy and occupation strategy of Israel across the Palestinian territories.”

According to Arrojo-Agudo, Israel’s attacks on Gaza’s water infrastructure have reduced per capita water access to just five liters a day. “A person needs no less than 100 liters per day for a normal dignified life,” he said.

But even that limited supply, he warned, is mostly undrinkable.

“The most serious problem is that much of this scarce water available … is not drinkable due to salinity and fecal contamination,” he said.

The lack of potable water has already triggered a sharp rise in illness, particularly among children.

Citing UNICEF data, Arrojo-Agudo said that cases of diarrhea in children under the age of five jumped from 40,000 to more than 70,000 in just one week in early December 2024.

The threat of epidemics such as dysentery and cholera is intensifying, he warned, while high salt levels in the water are also causing kidney failure and widespread dehydration.

He elaborated that the crisis created by Israel is not restricted to drinking water, but also affects sanitation services, compounding the risks of diseases.

Even before Israel commenced its genocidal aggression on the Strip, its 15-year blockade had prevented Gaza from importing 70% of the materials needed to build or maintain wastewater treatment plants, according to Arrojo-Agudo.

“This blockade led to progressive fecal contamination of the groundwater even before the war. After the outbreak of war, most infrastructure facilities were bombed and destroyed. But even without bombing, cutting electricity prevents the few functioning plants from operating,” he said.

With sewage systems out of service, he explained that raw wastewater now flows directly into the aquifer, contaminating the last remaining underground water reserves.

Highlighting the deliberate nature of the destruction Israel has inflicted on water and sanitation infrastructure, he recalled that soon after the war began, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former ‘Defense’ Minister Yoav Gallant and others declared publicly that they would cut off water, food, and medicine to the population, and they have “fulfilled what they announced.”

He added that in the occupied West Bank, Israel has appropriated 89% of the water from the mountain aquifer, even though only 20% of it originates in Israeli territory.

He continued that Israel has also completely diverted the flow of the Jordan River through its national water carrier and prohibits Palestinians from even approaching its banks.

He pointed out that in its 2008-2009 bombardment of Gaza, Israel destroyed nearly 1,000 water wells and 243 water pumping facilities.

But Arrojo-Agudo said the current assault is without precedent. “This is not a strategy to win a war. This is effectively a weapon, but against the population.”

He described the Strip as a “huge prison, in which people are forced to go here and there and then bombed, so there is no precedent.”

“This will be, unfortunately, a reference for the whole history of humanity as a disaster without any precedent.”

He stressed the need for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Strip and the unimpeded access of humanitarian aid into the Strip for the population to have a much-needed respite.

He also stressed the need for an end not only to the ongoing Israeli genocidal aggression on the Strip, but also to the illegal occupation of the West Bank.

He reiterated the need for opening humanitarian corridors to allow the entry of fuel, water, and medical supplies, while calling on the international community to demonstrate political will to oblige Israel to comply with international humanitarian law and hold it accountable.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
