While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Death toll of journalists in Gaza rises to 211 since October 7, 2023

Tuesday 8-April-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza announced on Tuesday that the number of journalists killed since Israel launched its war of genocide on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, has risen to 211.

This comes following the death of journalist Ahmad Mansour, who succumbed to his wounds on Monday after an Israeli airstrike targeted a journalists’ tent near Nasir Hospital in Khan Younus, southern Gaza.

In a statement, the Office said, “The number of journalist martyrs has risen to 211 since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza.”

It added that this was due to the crime committed by the Israeli occupation when it targeted a media tent near Nasir Hospital in Khan Younus, killing journalist 'Hilmi Al-Faq'aawi, and later leading to the death of Ahmad Mansour, who was critically injured in the same attack.

The statement confirmed that Ahmad Mansour was a journalist working with the Palestine Today news agency.

The PGMO strongly condemned the targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by Israeli forces.

It called on the International Federation of Journalists, the Federation of Arab Journalists, and all professional press organizations around the world to denounce these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media personnel in Gaza.

The statement further held Israel, the US administration, and other countries involved in the genocide, such as the UK, Germany, and France, fully responsible for this brutal and heinous crime.

It also urged the international community, global organizations, and journalistic institutions worldwide to condemn these crimes, pressure Israel to stop them, and pursue legal accountability for the perpetrators in international courts.

The PGMO demanded serious and effective pressure to stop the genocide and to protect journalists and media workers in Gaza from further killings and assassinations.

On Monday, one journalist was killed and nine others injured in the Israeli strike on the journalists’ tent in Khan Younus. The bombing caused a fire that led to further injuries, and the wounded were transported to Nasir Hospital for treatment.

On 18 March, Israel reneged on the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that had been in place since 19 January, resuming its campaign of genocide in Gaza, despite Hamas’s full compliance with the agreement.

Since 7 October 2023, and under unconditional US support, Israel’s war on Gaza has resulted in over 166,000 Palestinians killed and wounded, the majority being children and women, with over 11,000 missing under the rubble.

'Hamas calls for serious action to stop starvation of Gazans

Tuesday 8-April-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, has appealed to the leaders of the Arab and Islamic countries, as well as the UN, to take serious and immediate steps to put an end to the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip and the starvation of the Palestinian population.

In a statement on Monday, Hamas described the last remarks by far-right Israeli finance minister Bezalel Smotrich about continuing to starve over two million Palestinians in Gaza as a “full-fledged war crime being committed in full view of the entire world.”

“Smotrich made his remarks after more than a month of a complete closure on Gaza and blocking all forms of essential supplies, including food, water, medicine, fuel and medical equipment,” Hamas said.

The Movement added that such remarks by Smotrich reflected the Israeli occupation government’s declared positions and its army’s brutal crimes on the ground, including the recent bombing of a charitable food distribution point in Khan Younus, which claimed the lives of seven displaced civilians.

Smotrich vowed on Monday to prevent the entry of “a single grain of wheat” into the blockaded Gaza Strip, according to the Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime has kept Gaza’s border crossings closed since the beginning of March, halting the flow of humanitarian, relief and medical aid into the war-battered territory while bombing all types of remaining supplies, leading to an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.

Gaza death toll from Israel's deadly aggression surpasses 50,810

GAZA, April 8, 2025 (WAFA and PIC) —

At least 58 Palestinians were killed and 213 others were injured in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli genocide in the region, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

The Ministry confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 2023 has risen to 50,810 documented fatalities, with an additional 115,688 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

The Ministry also pointed out that the casualties of the Israeli renewed aggression since March 18 had reached 1,449 martyrs and 3,647 injured.

The Ministry added that emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to target ambulance and civil defense crews.

Israel's genocidal onslaught continues undeterred despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Three children among six killed by Israeli air strike on Al-Mawasi

GAZA, April 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

An Israeli air strike Tuesday evening killed six Palestinians, including three children, in Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younes in the southern Gaza Strip, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that Israeli fighter jets targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in Al-Mawasi area, claiming the lives of six civilians, including three children, and injuring others.

Israeli fighter jets conducted another airstrike targeting the vicinity of a center in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing hundreds of Palestinians, including over 100 children.

The death toll reached 1,449 with 3,647 others wounded, according to medical sources. Emergency teams are attempting to recover victims still trapped beneath the rubble.

Medical sources added that within the last 24 hours, the bodies of 58 slain Palestinians and 213 casualties were admitted into hospitals across the Strip.

The aggression was resumed amidst concerns over the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Strip given the ongoing siege and ban on the entry of medical and humanitarian aid.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 50,810 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 115,688 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

Israeli occupation forces tighten movement restrictions at checkpoint near Nablus

Israeli occupation forces Tuesday evening tightened the movement restrictions at the Bait Foureek military checkpoint near the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.

They said that the occupying forces beefed up restrictions at the Bait Foureek checkpoint, at the eastern entrance of Nablus, forcing passengers out of vehicles with their hands up, assaulting them, holding them for a long time, and causing severe traffic congestion.

The occupation forces have tightened movement restrictions at the checkpoints and set up additional barriers around the Nablus governorate for over 10 days.

The occupation forces have tightened military measures across the occupied West Bank hours after the release of 90 Palestinian prisoners as part of the Gaza ceasefire went into effect, dismembering and isolating cities and governorates one from the other using military gates, barriers, and concrete blocks.

The Israeli military measures are in parallel with ongoing attacks by the illegal Israeli settlers across the West Bank to terrorize Palestinians and displace them from their lands to seize them and build illegal Jewish colonies that separate Palestinian communities.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime severely restricts Palestinians’ freedom of movement within the occupied West Bank through a complex combination of approximately 898 fixed and flying checkpoints and gates, including 18 gates that have been installed since the start of 2025 and 146 others installed in the aftermath of October 7, 2023, settler-only roads, over 200 military bases, and various other physical obstructions.

Israeli occupation forces order entire family out of their house near Nablus

NABLUS, April 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces Tuesday evening ordered an entire Palestinian family out of their house in Khallet Al-'Amoud area, east of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.

They said that the occupying forces barged their way into the area, broke into a house, and ordered the entire family to leave it at gunpoint.

Illegal Israeli settlers storm Bedouin community near Aree'ha (Jericho)

Aree'ha (Jericho), April 8, 2025 (WAFA) -

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers Tuesday evening stormed the 'Arab Al-Mulai'hat community, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Aree'ha (Jericho), according to a local activist.

'Hasan Al-Mulai'hatt, supervisor of the al-Baidar Organization in Defense of Bedouin Rights, said that masked colonists riding horses barged their way into the community and ransacked several livestock barns.

He added that earlier today, a colonist attempted to deliberately ram his vehicle into a female teacher, who teaches at the primary school in the community, on the al-Mu‘arrajat (the Snake) Road.

Colonists have frequently attacked 'Arab Al-Mulai'hat along with other communities, polluting their drinking water, and chasing and preventing shepherds from using the nearby Al-Mu‘arrajat Street to commute to the cities of Ramallah and Jericho.

He added that colonist raids into the community were part of the Israeli occupation's ongoing policy of detecting Bedouins’ sheep as a prelude for stealing and displacing the community to make room for colonial expansion.

According to the Applied Research Institute of Jerusalem (ARIJ), the Arab Al-Mulai'hat come originally from Negev; people of this area were forcefully expelled to live in different places of the West Bank due to their nomadic nature.  In mid mid-eighties, people of Al-Mulai'hat were sent out from the al-Irqa area to Maghair al-Dair, which is only 7km away from it, claiming the area a military closed zone by Israel.

Approximately 1 million of the illegal Israeli settlers are living in the illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) in violation of international law.

'Abeer Isma'eel, director of UNRWA’s Information Office, denounced the raid besides the handing over of a closure order, giving the institution 30 days to shut down as a completely rejected procedure that violates international law.

“This procedure represents a violation of the right of Palestine refugee children to receive education, and threatens to deprive hundreds of children of their basic right to education within their country,” Ismail said in a statement.

“If we are forced to close, the consequences will be dire, as the children will be deprived of their basic right to education, which will exacerbate their suffering and negatively affect their future.”

She added that the procedure also constitutes a violation of the immunity of the United Nations facilities, noting that the UN was closely following up on it and examining its legal and practical dimensions.

She affirmed that UNRWA would remain committed to the provision of educational services to Palestinian refugees in the occupied city, including in the current academic year.

Earlier today, Israeli occupation forces forcibly entered six UNRWA-affiliated schools and announced plans to close the facilities.

On 28 October 2024, Israel's Knesset, with over 90 percent support, approved two bills banning UNRWA from operating in the occupied territories - Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem. These measures went into effect at the end of last January.

East Jerusalem is a part of the internationally recognized Palestinian territories that have been occupied by the Israeli military since 1967.

UN Chief says Gaza transformed by the Israeli occupation forces into a ‘killing field’

NEW YORK, April 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said Tuesday that Gaza had become "a killing field" due to the ongoing Israeli genocidal war, that resulted in the killing of 50,810 Palestinians and injuring 115,688 others.

He added that the Gaza Strip has been abandoned without “a drop of aid” for more than a month, and the situation is proving dire for Palestinian residents in the enclave.

“More than an entire month has passed without a drop of aid into Gaza. No food. No fuel. No medicine. No commercial supplies,” he told reporters in New York.

He added: "As aid has dried up, the floodgates of horror have re-opened. Gaza is a killing field - and civilians are in an endless death loop".

The UN chief has reiterated that, under international law, Israel is obliged to allow aid into the Strip for Palestinians in the occupied territory.

"No humanitarian supplies can enter Gaza. Meanwhile, at the crossing points, food, medicine and shelter supplies are piling up, and vital equipment is stuck," Guterres said.

Although the UN is "ready and determined to deliver" aid, Guterres said Israel’s newly proposed "authorisation mechanisms" for aid deliveries "risk further controlling and callously limiting aid down to the last calorie and grain of flour".

"Let me be clear, we will not participate in any arrangement that does not fully respect humanitarian principles: humanity, impartiality, independence and neutrality. Unimpeded humanitarian access must be guaranteed," he said.

In response to Trump's proposal to taking "the Palestinians and moving them around to different countries",  he added: “Palestinians have the right to live in Palestine, in a Palestinian state, side-by-side with the Israeli state. To be forced to be moved away is against international law.”

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
