While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Dr. Al-Farra: Gaza’s children are facing most critical stages of malnutrition

Wednesday 23-April-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The director of Al-Ta'hreer Hospital at Nasser Medical Complex, Dr. A'hmed Al-Farra, has warned that children in the Gaza Strip are experiencing the most severe stages of malnutrition, and that it is becoming increasingly difficult to monitor them medically due to shortages of therapeutic medications and infant formula.

Al-Farra said, in a press statement on Wednesday, “The case of the child Osama Al-Rajab (the attached photo) summarizes the suffering of the children in Gaza in light of the shortages in proper nutrition supplies and drinking water sources.”

He stressed that the Gaza Strip is currently in the fifth stage of malnutrition, which is the most critical stage according to the World Health Organization.

The lack of proper nutrition and medications for pregnant women is seriously affecting newborns, especially premature babies, he added.

He stressed that the ongoing blockade on food and medical supplies places Gaza’s children in an extremely dangerous and catastrophic situation.

Since March 2, the Israeli occupation forces have been closing Gaza’s crossings and blocking the entry of goods and aid, which caused the outbreak of famine in the Strip.

Death toll in Gaza reaches 51,305, thousands still missing

GAZA, April 23, 2025 (WAFA, PIC) –

At least 39 Palestinians were killed and 105 others were injured in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli genocide in the region, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

The Ministry confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 2023 has risen to  51,305 fatalities, with an additional 117,096 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

Since the Israeli occupation army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, 2025, a total of 1,928 people have been killed and 5,055 others have been injured, according to Gaza’s health ministry on Wednesday.

Emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to target ambulance and civil defense crews, according to the health authorities.

Israeli airstrike kills two civilians, injures others in Dair El-Bala'h

GAZA, April 23, 2025 (WAFA) –

An Israeli airstrike Wednesday evening killed two Palestinian civilians and injured others in Dair El-Bala'h in the central Gaza Strip, according to local sources.

They said that Israeli occupation forces targeted a group of civilians in the city, resulting in two fatalities and several casualties.

Meanwhile, medical sources said that the total death toll as a result of Israeli strikes across the Strip since the dawn hours of Wednesday climbed to 37.

Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing hundreds of Palestinians, including over 100 children.

The death toll reached 1,928 with 5,055 others wounded, according to medical sources. Emergency teams are attempting to recover victims still trapped beneath the rubble.

Medical sources added that within the last 24 hours, the bodies of 39 slain Palestinians and 105 casualties were admitted into hospitals across the Strip.

The aggression was resumed amidst concerns over the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Strip given the ongoing siege and ban on the entry of medical and humanitarian aid.

Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 51,305 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 117,096 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

Wednesday 23-April-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army continued last night and on Wednesday to carry out deadly attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate more homes and displace families in the Gaza Strip, further exacerbating the dire humanitarian suffering of the population.

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporters in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including an Israeli strike on a house in Gaza City’s Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood that killed eight people and injured others, including women and children.

The Israeli army also attacked fishermen near the shore of Bait Lahya in the northwest of Gaza City, killing one of them and injuring others.

Casualties, including martyrs, were reported following a strike on a commercial store near the Hamza Mosque in Gaza City’s Al-Daraj neighborhood.

Meanwhile, civil defense rescuers faced challenging and dangerous conditions as they tried to reach several bombed homes in Al-Nakheel street in the east of Gaza City’s Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood. They successfully recovered the bodies of some martyrs and evacuated one injured woman. However, others remain trapped beneath the rubble.

Civil defense rescuers also recovered the bodies of at least 10 victims following an Israeli attack on a school sheltering displaced families in the northeast of Gaza City.

In northern Gaza, an Israeli strike on a group of citizens in 'Izbet Bait 'Hanoun area killed at least one.

A child was martyred and others were injured when the Israeli occupation army bombed a house in Jabalya in northern Gaza.

Israeli occupation forces airstrike hits solar panels of Al-Durrah Children’s Hospital in Gaza

Wednesday 23-April-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces warplanes bombed the solar panels in the upper building of the Al-Durrah Children’s Hospital, east of Gaza City, at dawn Wednesday.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health condemned the Israeli targeting of the Children’s Hospital, stressing that the bombing caused significant damage to the intensive care unit and the alternative power system inside the hospital.

“The occupation has not only prevented medicine and food from Gaza’s children, but also continues to deprive them of life,” it said.

The Ministry of Health renewed its call on the concerned authorities to provide protection for medical institutions and criminalize the Israeli practices against them.

Since the onset of the genocidal war in October 2023, The Israeli occupation army has repeatedly targeted hospitals and press centers with direct shelling.

Israeli occupation forces abduct two Palestinians from southern West Bank refugee camp

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), April 23, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces Wednesday evening abducted two Palestinians from Al-Duhaisha refugee camp, south of the occupied West Bank city of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that Israeli special forces, known as Mista'arvim, and army units sneaked their way into the refugee camp, and deployed at the main entrance and outside its perimeter.

During ensuing confrontations, the gun-toting soldiers fired live ammunition as well as concussion and tear gas bombs.

He added that the soldiers rounded up two young men from the refugee camp.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted without a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

According to the latest figures from Al-Dhameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, there are currently 9,900 Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli prisons and detention centers, including 400 child prisoners, 27 female prisoners, and five members of the Palestinian Legislative Council.

This number includes approximately 3,498 Palestinians placed under “administrative detention”, which allows the detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals ranging between three and six months based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing.

The mass arrest of Palestinians is nothing new. According to a 2017 report by Al-Dhameer, over the past 50 years, more than 800,000 Palestinians have been imprisoned or detained by Israel, this figure is now believed to be closer to 1 million. This means that about 40% of Palestinian men and boys living under military occupation have been deprived of their freedom. Almost every Palestinian family has suffered the imprisonment of a loved one.

Illegal Israeli settlers set up tents on Palestinian lands for the illegal settlement expansion

RAMALLAH, April 23, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers Wednesday set up a tent on Palestinian citizens' land in the Masafir Yatta area, south of Hebron, in preparation for taking over them.

Activist Osama Makhamra told WAFA that a group of colonists set up a tent on citizens land east of Sha'b Al-Batm in Masafir Yatta, in preparation for seizing it.

He added that the illegal Israeli settlers aim to expand three colonial outposts established about two years ago on citizens' land in that area and connect them.

In a related context, a group of armed colonists destroyed an iron fence and stole parts of it in the 'Aziwa area and the village of Susiya, belonging to two local residents. The soldiers further stole agricultural crops.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed provocative dances and Talmudic prayers.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site.

Eight injured in an attack by the illegal Israeli settlers on Ramallah-area town

RAMALLAH, April 23, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers launched an attack against the town of Sinjil north of Ramallah on Wednesday evening, using four-wheel-drive vehicles to storm the area and torch several agricultural facilities.

Local activists reported that the attack targeted the Khirbet al-Tell area, which was previously attacked by colonists just three days ago. That earlier attack resulted in the killing of Wa-il Basim Ghafri, 48, and the injury of several others. During that raid, five agricultural structures were set ablaze, and dozens of sheep were stolen.

The illegal Israeli settlers launched a large-scale attack on the town of Sinjil north of Ramallah on Wednesday evening, storming the area with four-wheel-drive vehicles and setting fire to multiple agricultural facilities.

According to local sources, eight Palestinians were injured in the attack, including one individual who sustained a gunshot wound inflicted by colonists. The precise nature of the injury remains undetermined, as Israeli forces barred Palestinian civil defense and medical teams from accessing the area to administer aid and contain the fires.

The Sinjil Village Council issued an urgent appeal calling on residents to head to the Khirbet al-Tell area to help defend the landowners and confront the ongoing colonists’ attacks.

Local activists confirmed that the assault targeted the Khirbet al-Tell area, which was attacked just three days ago. That earlier raid led to the killing of 48-year-old Wa-il Basim Ghafri, the injury of several others, the burning of five agricultural structures, and the theft of dozens of sheep.

In today’s attack, at least three additional agricultural structures were torched.

According to data from the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Israeli colonists have established 60 new colonial outposts across the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the war on Gaza in October 2023. Of these, 51 were erected during 2024 alone.

The commission further reported that ongoing colonial violence and expansion across the West Bank have forcibly displaced 29 Palestinian communities, comprising 311 families and approximately 2,000 individuals, between October 7, 2023, and the end of 2024.

According to figures released by the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, colonists have established 60 colonial outposts in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza in October 2023, 51 of which were set up in 2024 alone.

The commission further noted that Israeli colonial violence and expansion in the West Bank led to the forced displacement of 29 Palestinian communities, comprising 311 families and approximately 2,000 individuals, between October 7, 2023, and the end of 2024.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.

The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned.

Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.

Palestinians injured, property burned in settler attack on a West Bank town

Wednesday 23-April-2025

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

Several Palestinian citizens were injured and three agricultural structures were set ablaze when a horde of the illegal Israeli armed settlers attacked Sinjil town, north of Ramallah, on Wednesday afternoon.

According to local sources, eight citizens suffered injuries, including one with a bullet injury in his head, after armed settlers aboard cars stormed Sinjil town and attacked local residents and their property.

The sources added that the settlers set fire to three agricultural structures in the town.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers prevented Palestinian fire trucks from entering the town to extinguish the fires. Ambulances were also denied entry to the town to evacuate the wounded.

The Sinjil village council urged the local residents to head to the targeted area of al-Tal, where the settler attack happened, to help their compatriots defend themselves and their property.

Last Monday, armed settlers had attacked the same area under military protection. One local resident was killed and others were injured in that attack. They also burned agricultural facilities and stole dozens of sheep.

IOAR razes Palestinian home, commercial facility in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

Wednesday 23-April-2025

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) demolished a house and a commercial facility belonging to Palestinian citizens in different areas of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) at the pretext of unlicensed construction.

According to local sources, bulldozers belonging to the Israeli municipality demolished a house owned by Kadthim Abu Shafi' in Silwan district, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

A family of four was living in that house, which was built in 2021.

Meanwhile, a large number of Israeli police forces stormed several neighborhoods of Silwan during the demolition operation.

In a separate incident, Israeli municipal bulldozers knocked down a Palestinian-owned commercial facility in al-Jib town, northwest of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

Local sources said that bulldozers escorted by police forces demolished a brick and iron workshop belonging to Abdul-Basset as-Sous in al-Jib town.

The rate at which Palestinian homes and structures are demolished in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) has almost doubled since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, human rights groups and monitoring organizations say.

The demolitions are ordered by the Israeli municipal authority which claims that many Palestinian homes and structures are built without permission.

Almost all attempts by Palestinian families in east Jerusalem to apply for planning permission are rejected by the IOAR. That means growing families say they have no choice but to build without permits and face the consequences – huge fines and demolition orders.

Israeli occupation forces tighten restrictions at checkpoints surrounding Nablus

NABLUS, April 23, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces Wednesday evening tightened the movement restrictions at the checkpoints surrounding the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to WAFA correspondent.

She said that the occupying forces beefed up restrictions at the checkpoints surrounding the city and sealed off the intermittently staffed ‘Awarta checkpoint, south of the city, the permanently staffed al-Muraba’ah checkpoint, south of the city, and the Sarra checkpoint, west of the city, holding passengers for long time, checking their ID cards, inspecting vehicles, and causing traffic congestion.

The occupation forces have tightened military measures across the occupied West Bank hours after the release of 90 Palestinian prisoners as part of the Gaza ceasefire went into effect on January 19, dismembering and isolating cities and governorates from one another using military gates, barriers, and concrete blocks.

The Israeli military measures are in parallel with ongoing attacks by Israeli colonists across the West Bank to terrorize Palestinians and displace them from their lands to seize them and build illegal Jewish colonies that separate Palestinian communities.

Israel severely restricts Palestinians’ freedom of movement within the occupied West Bank through a complex combination of approximately 898 fixed and flying checkpoints and gates, including 18 gates that have been installed since the start of 2025 and 146 others installed in the aftermath of October 7, 2023, settler-only roads, over 200 military bases, and various other physical obstructions.

Closures besides other measures, taken under the guise of security, are intended to entrench Israel’s 58-year-old military occupation of the West Bank and its settler colonial project, which it enforces with routine and frequently deadly violence against Palestinians.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.
