21 Syrian Civilians, 4 Soldiers Killed, Including 9 Women and Children by Russian Air Strikes

25 people were killed on May 19, 2019, including 4 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and 21 other people

In Idlib Province, 15 citizens were killed, they are: 10 citizens including 5 children and 4 women were killed in bombing by Russian warplanes on areas in Kafr Nubl town, 3 brothers were killed in shelling by the regime forces on areas at Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib, a citizen died affected by wounds he had in bombardment by warplanes on areas in Jesr al-Shughur city in the western countryside of Idlib, and a citizen was killed in rocket shelling by the regime forces targeted areas in al-Hbit town in the southern countryside of Idlib.

In Hama Province, a woman and her child were killed in rocket shelling by the regime forces on areas in Qastoun town in the northwestern countryside of Hama.

While the Syrian Observatory documented the death of a man and a child in an IED explosion in a car at Khan Shaykhun camp in Qah town in northern countryside of Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory also documented the death of an old citizen by random bullets during an attack by unknown gunmen on the security box in al-Sanamayn town.

The Syrian Observatory also documented the killing of a member of Deir Ezzor Legislative Council of the Syria Democratic Forces by bullets of unidentified gunmen in Thiban town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

4 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in shelling and clashes against the jihadi factions and groups in Hama countryside.

Turkish Forces and their loyal factions shell areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo controlled by the Kurdish Forces

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory monitored rocket and artillery shelling by the Turkish Forces and their loyal factions of “Euphrates Shield,” targeted areas in the towns and villages of Mar’anaz, Malkiyyeh, and Ayn Daqneh, which are controlled by the Kurdish Forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo, but no information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 18th of May 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a civilian and the injury of more than 6 others, in the violent and intense rocket shelling by the Turkish Forces on areas of deployment of the Kurdish Forces in Tal Rifaat at the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, it should be noted that the civilian casualty was displaced from Baflun village of Sharan Township in Afrin.

The Syrian Observatory published this morning that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes took place in Ain Daqneh area and other areas in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside at dawn of today, Saturday, between the rebel and Islamic factions supported by Turkey, against the Kurdish forces present and scattered in the area, which caused casualties in the clashes which are accompanied by targeting by with shells and heavy machine guns, where at least 5 fighters of the factions were killed amid information about more casualties in the ranks of both parties, while the Syrian Observatory monitored heavy and intense shelling by the Turkish Forces with the first hours of the morning, targeted Tal Rifaat and the surrounding places within areas controlled by the Kurdish Forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 4th of May 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored clashes between the pro-Turkey factions of “Olive Branch and Euphrates Shield” against the Kurdish forces that are deployed in the triangle of Shawarghah – Maraanaz – Al-Malikiyah villages in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, where the factions took the control of the entire village of Maraanaz and advanced into Shawarghah and Al-Malikiyah villages, then they withdrew suddenly from all of the abovementioned points as a result of the Kurdish forces’ shelling and the spreading of landmines in the area, were 3 fighters of the factions were killed due to the explosion of landmines in them in Maraanaz village, in conjunction with exchange of shelling between the Turkish forces against the Kurdish forces that are deployed in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, where positions of the Turkish forces have shelled positions of the Kurdish forces in areas in Tel Rifaat and Menagh Military Airbase.

The Kurdish forces shelled areas in Maryamin village in the northern countryside of Aleppo, which resulted in the fall of wounded, and this shelling and clashes come against the backdrop of shelling by the Kurdish forces today morning on areas in the vicinity of Azaz in the northern countryside of Aleppo, which resulted in the death of 2 officers of the Turkish forces and the injury of others, raising to 91, the number of casualties of the Turkish forces’ soldiers who have been killed since the start of the Turkish military operation in Afrin area in the north-western countryside of Aleppo on the 20th of January 2018.

The Syrian Observatory monitored removing the dirt barricades by Turkish Forces in the vicinity of the villages of Mar’anaz and Malkiyyeh in the northern countryside of Aleppo, which are controlled by the Kurdish Forces, accompanied by a ground attack by the Turkey-loyal “Euphrates Shield” and “Olive Branch” factions on Mar’anaz village, where violent clashes took place against the Kurdish Forces, amid advancement for the factions in Mar’anaz village, coincided with an escalation by the Turkish Forces, and intensive shelling on places of deployment of the Kurdish Forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo and lasted for 2 hours, and the shelling and clashes comes after the shelling by the Kurdish Forces that took place this morning in the vicinity of Azaz city.

The temporary truce completely collapses by hundreds of air and ground strikes accompanied by violent clashes within the “de-escalation” area, and 10 casualties -mostly women and children- are the death toll of the Russian massacre in Kafr Nubl

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the return of intense and violent escalation to the “Putin – Erdogan” demilitarized area, through aerial and ground bombardment and shelling by tens of strikes in addition to the outbreak of violent clashes, thus, declaring the complete collapse of the temporary Russian – Turkish truce, where violent clashes have been taking place since Monday morning, the 20th of May 2019, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the jihadi groups and other factions, in places at al-Masasneh and Hamamiyyat areas in the northern sector of Hama countryside, after an attack carried out by the Jihadi factions and groups in the area, accompanied by intense exchange of shelling and targeting between both parties, amid confirmed information about casualties, and in the same context, the Russian warplanes carried out raids on Sfuhen village and the vicinity of Flifel village in the southern countryside of Idlib this morning, also regime’s warplanes targeted on Monday morning by heavy machine guns and missiles areas in Kafr Zita, its vicinity, and other areas in northern countryside of Hama, while the regime forces targeted by more than 200 shells and missile areas in Jabal Shashabo in Hama countryside since dawn of today, Monday, where the heaviest shelling was focused on Shahranaz village, also the regime forces heavily shelled with tens of shells and missiles dawn and morning of today places in Kafr Zita, Zakat, al-Arba’in, and Hasraya north of Hama, and other places in al-Hbit in the southern countryside of Idlib, also the helicopters dropped barrel bombs on al-Hbit.

Also it rose to 10 including 5 children and 4 citizen women at least, the number of people who were killed in the massacre carried out by the Russian warplanes which targeted areas in Kafr Nubl city and its surrounding in Idlib countryside, raising to 16 people including 6 children and 4 citizen women, the number of people who were killed in the ground and aerial bombardment that targeted the Russian – Turkish truce areas, and they are: 10 citizens including 5 children and 4 women were killed in bombing by Russian warplanes on areas in Kafr Nubl town, 3 brothers were  killed in shelled by the regime forces on areas at Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib, a woman and her child were killed in shelling by the regime forces on areas in the towns of Qastoun and Zayzoun in Sahl al-Ghab, and a citizen was killed in rocket shelling by the regime forces targeted areas in al-Hbit town in the southern countryside of Idlib.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 499, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, and they are: 180 civilians including 38 children and 41 citizen women, and they are 44 including 13 children and 12 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 25 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 55 including 12 women, 11 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 35 people including 6 women and 2 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 21 citizens including 10 children and 3 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 169 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 150 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 28th day, to 652 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 19th of May 2019, they are 230 civilians including 51 children and 52 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 25 civilians casualties including 10 children and 4 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 187 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 216 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today, the 20th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1028 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 468 civilians including 121 children under the age of eighteen and 110 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 49 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 9 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 255 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 158 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 305 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1258 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 549 civilians including 153 children and 122 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 322 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 173 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 387 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
