84 from government forces and Houthis killed in Hodeidah battles in 24 hours

In the past 24 hours, 84 members of the joint government forces and the Houthi militia have been killed in fierce battles in the vicinity of the city of Hodeidah, west of Yemen, in the wake of the failure of the Geneva peace talks.

Eleven government fighters were killed and 17 wounded in the fighting, while 73 Houthis were killed and scores of others injured, AFP quoted medical sources in hospitals in Hodeidah province as saying.

The south-east of Hodeidah witnessed violent confrontations overnight between government forces and Houthi militias and intense attacks by the Arab coalition Apache fighters.

Al Masdar online correspondent earlier said that after the implementation of an intensive sweep of Apache fighters targeting the groups of Houthi fighters and their vehicles in the areas leading east of Derihmi to kilo 16 the combined forces managed to reach the Kilo 10 area, about six kilometers from the kilo 16 triangle It is the most important entrance to the city of Hodeidah from both the south and east and connects it to the capital Sana'a and the governorates of Taiz, Rima and Mahwit, which are areas of movement and concentration of the Houthi militias.

Five civilians, including three women, killed in coalition shelling in Serwah, Marib

Five civilians, including three women, were killed on Saturday in a raid by Arab coalition fighters, targeting citizens in Serwah district, Marib Governorate, east of the Yemeni capital Sana'a.

A raid targeting civilians in the Wadi Habab area of Serwah district resulted in two people being killed, according to sources for Almasdar online.

Three women tried to rescue the two civilians, but a second raid targeted them, killing them, raising the death toll to five, the sources said.

Coalition spokesperson: Destruction of Houthi ballistic missile vehicle in Sa'dah

The Arab coalition said on Saturday that it was able to destroy a ballistic missile vehicle belonging to the Houthi militia in Sa'dah Governorate.

"A ballistic missile vehicle has been located in the Al-amshiah area in the district of Alsafraa -  Sa'dah Governorate and was destroyed after the coordinates of the site were passed," said coalition forces spokesperson Col. Turki al-Maliki.

He said coalition planes also destroyed a militia radar site that was working to follow the coalition forces ' planes in Jabal Anem in Sahar Governorate, the radar site was identified and destroyed and a number of experts on site were killed.

The coalition’s nonstop airstrikes ,the Yemeni army forces’s responses

The Yemeni army forces on Sunday managed to destroy three military vehicles belonging to the coalition in Durihimi district in Yemen’s Hodeidah province, a military official told YemenExtra.

The mechanisms were destroyed by improvised explosive devices planted by army’s engineering unit, killing all those on board, the official added.

On the other hand, the coalition launched a number of airstrikes targeting Red Sea Mill Factory in Al-Hale district, injuring 19 civilians and over 40 raids on Kilo 16 area and nearby places in Al-Hale district.

In March 2015, the US backed –Saudi-led coalition started  a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 600,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and  prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.

U.S. drone kills Qaeda Leader in Abyan

A leader of Qaeda was killed on Sunday in unmanned aircraft’s airstrike against a gathering of Qaeda elements, a security official told YemenExtra.

The leader of Qaeda Sameh al-Marmy and several of Qaeda elements were targeted by the drone in Marwan valley.

In March 2015, the US backed –Saudi-led coalition started  a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 600,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and  prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.

A new investigation by Associated Press has found that the coalition waging a war on Yemen has secured secret deals with al-Qaeda terrorists in the violence-wracked country, recruiting hundreds of its militants in the ground operations against the Houthi Ansarullah movement , part of the Yemeni army forces.

A salvo of missiles land amid the coalition ranks in Najran

The missile force of the Yemeni army forces launched Katyusha missiles barrage on Saudi soldiers and machinery gatherings in Najran.

Their artillery targeted a caliber-50 gun by artillery shells, killing and wounding a number of the paid fighters.

Despite the coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

A UN panel has compiled a detailed report of civilian casualties caused by the Saudi military and its allies during their war against Yemen, saying the Riyadh-led coalition has used precision-guided munitions in its raids on civilian targets.

Saudi War Crimes in Yemen on September 9th, 2018: Report

The Saudi-led coalition conducted on Saturday raids and shells on a number of Yemeni provinces, resulting in killed and wounded casualties, in addition to material damage inflicted by the public and private property.

In Marib Province, two citizens lost their lives after an air raid targeted a motorcycle in al-Tl’ts in the district of Serwah, after that, three women got killed in a raid as they were attempting to help the two men on the motorcycle in the aforementioned area.

In Saada Province, the Saudi-led coalition  launched a series of raids on different areas of the province where two raids were carried out on the house of a citizen in Baqem district, a raid on the home of a citizen in al-Walba in al-Zaher district, and two air raids on al-Hajlah in Razih that caused severe damage to a mosque and a civilian’s house.

Meanwhile, the Saudi border guards targeted with missiles and artillery shelling various areas in the districts of al-Zaher, Shada, Razih and Baqam, leading to destruction and material damage to the homes and farms of citizens.

In Hodeidah coastal province, 19 citizens sustained wounds after air raids struck the Red Sea Mills factory in Kilo 16 in the district of al-Hali.

To conclude, Saudi warplanes launched a hysterical bombardment that included more than 40 raids on the area of Kilo 16 and its vicinity in al-Hali district since yesterday’s morning, while it conducted 10 raids on Mount al-Malih in the district of Munira.
