After the Turkish targeting and mobilization on the border of its control, SDF to hold a meeting to decide on the resumption of the east Euphrates process and the Turkish attacks

SOHR, 04/11/2018 4

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from several reliable sources, who confirmed that a meeting of the general command of Syria Democratic Forces will be held today, Sunday, the 4th of November 2018, where the meeting will discuss the Turkish attacks against the Syrian north in the area between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, and the possibility of resuming the ground attacks on the last enclave of the “Islamic State” Organization at the eastern banks of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, also the sources confirmed that the Syria Democratic Forces still refrained from starting a ground offensive in the area of the east Euphrates bank.

This meeting comes in conjunction with aerial bombardments by International Coalition warplanes, which continue in a deferent pace of violent; on areas of the “Islamic State” Organization in its last enclave east of Euphrates, which killed 23 people including 14 civilians -including 5 children and 5 women- yesterday Saturday, and the remainder are members of the “Islamic State” Organization, amid artillery bombardment on the area, while military reinforcements are still being dispatched by the Syria Democratic Forces to the eastern countryside of Deir East Ezzor, as part of the preparations to start the ground offensive of which the Syria Democratic Forces continues to refrain carrying it out until now; in a protest against the attacks that targeting the border strip opposite to the Turkish side; in the Syrian north within the area between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the area on the border strip between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in the eastern Euphrates area -which is controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces- is still witnessing calm since the afternoon of the Friday, the 2nd of November 2018, where the Syrian Observatory monitored that the Turkish shelling and targeting stopped after the last targeting of areas on the border strip, which targeted Tal Jahan area in the countryside of al-Qahtaniyyeh area (Terbeh Sebih) in the northern countryside of al-Hasakah, and the targeting rounds that began on the 28th of October 2018, had killed 5 people, they are: a child girl was killed after being targeted in Tal Abyad area north of al-Raqqah, and 4 fighters were killed in the in the countryside of Tal Abyad and Ayn al-Arab (Kobani).

the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the first targeting by the Turkish Forces for areas in the northern countryside of al-Hasaka, and in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory: the Turkish Forces opened the fire of their machine guns on Tal Jahan village which is controlled by the al-Sanadid Forces of the Sheikh of Shammar Hamidi; Dahham al-Hadi, who was the joint head of the Al-Jazeera province, where the targeting injured members of al-Sanadid forces seriously, despite the fact that the US Forces run patrols on the border strip with Turkey from the east of Euphrates River to the Tigris River in the Syrian-Turkish-Iraqi border triangle.

The Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Right monitored renewed targeting by the Turkish Forces for areas in the northern countryside of al-Raqqah, where the Syrian Observatory monitored targeting for the outskirts of Tal Abyad city, which caused material damage and injured several people including 2 of a media team operating in the area, where this targeting comes after the deployment of the American Forces on the border strip east of Euphrates within the Syrian north, where the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the girl who was injured in targeting by the Turkish Forces for Tal Fandar village in the countryside of Tal Abyad city in the northern countryside of al-Raqqah province; died affected by the serious injuries she had on Thursday night, the 1st of November 2018, which increased the resentment among the locals towards the Turkish targeting of their areas, and of the preparations that are taking place on the western side of Euphrates River, by the Turkish authorities and their forces and the factions supported by them, in conjunction with the silence of the American Forces who are trying to control the situation through consensus with the Turkish Forces to re-run joint patrols on the line between areas control of Manbij military junta and areas of control of “Euphrates Shield” Operation Forces; in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, and reliable sources confirmed that the American Forces were deployed in the entire border strip with Turkey in the area between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, in order to prevent any Turkish movements towards the area as well as to spread within Ayn al-Arab (Kobani).

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored new targeting by the Turkish forces to the area of Tal Abyad in the western sector of Al-Raqqah countryside, where the Turkish forces have targeted Tal Fandar village west of Tal Abyad, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that gunfire was heard in Tal Abyad area in the western countryside of al-Raqqah, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Turkish Forces opened again their machineguns’ fire at Tal Abyad city and its outskirts, and on positions of the self-defense forces in the vicinity of the city and near the Syrian-Turkish border, which caused material damage but no information about injuries, amid movements by the Turkish side on the border strip from the Turkish side.

Reliable sources attended the meeting that was held in Afrin city in the north-western sector of Aleppo countryside, between the Turkish Intelligence and between the factions of the “Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch”, informed the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, that the Turkish Intelligence informed the factions to get ready for the next military operation that Turkey intends to carry out against the Syria Democratic Forces, whose main pillar is the YPG, which includes the border strip stretched from the eastern bank of the Euphrates River to the western bank of the Tigris River, and the sources added that the Turkish Intelligence deliberately directed its talk to all the factions and specified those factions whose fighters are descendent from areas in Deir Ezzor, Al-Raqqah and Al-Hasakah provinces, in order to create a sedition between the Kurdish and the Arabs in the area, and the Turkish forces tend to send Kurdish fighters loyal to them in the incoming battle of the east of the Euphrates so that their intention to create a sedition will not be revealed.
