Taiz: Government forces kill eight Houthis in battles

Eight people of the Houthi militias were killed and four others injured in battles with the government forces in Maqbanah district western Taiz city, southwestern Yemen, government forces said on Wednesday. 
 
The official government agency Saba quoted colonel Hameed al Kholaidi, the government forces commander in Maqbanah, as saying that the fighting broke out after an attack by the government forces on the Houthi sites in al Qahaifah area in the district, killing eight Houthis and liberating the site of Malik hill.
 
Since November last year, fierce battles have been waged between the two sides as the government forces seek to control the region mountains which are the western gateway to Taiz city.

15 Houthis surrender in al Mocha district, including Ibrahim Adabo's Son

A number of Houthi militants, including the son of the well-known smuggling figure Ibrahim Adabo, surrendered to the government forces, a military source in the city of Al-Mukha, on the Red Sea coast in western Yemen, said on Saturday.
 
The source told Almasdaronline that Hemair Adabo and two of his brothers and about 15 others loyal to Adabo surrendered to the government forces in the area between Al-Khocha and Yakhtel, northern al Mocha.
 
Those who surrendered themselves were armed, and had joined the Houthis group during their control of the region in early 2015, the source added
 
However, upon differences between the Houthis of Hias city, and Houthis came from Sa'ada, evolved into clashes, led to those to surrender.
 
Ibrahim Adabo is one of the figures who have been a terror of citizens for many years, under the rule of former President Ali Abdullah Saleh, known for the disruption of passengers and smuggling, as well as the assault on civilians in the region.
 
He was imprisoned in Taiz city, according to the source, he returned to his home after Houthis release him.

Houthis and civilians causalities by coalition raids in al Hodeidah -Eyewitnesses

Many causalities of the Houthi militants and civilians were wounded on Monday in air raids launched by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition aircraft in al Jarahi district in al Hodeidah province, western Yemen, eyewitnesses said.
 
The aircraft targeted two military vehicles while stopping at Saleh gas station in Mahwa al Moshara'a of al Jarahi district, resulted in the killing and wounding of 20 Houthis, and other civilians who were refueling, including the station workers, as well as the destruction of the station, the eyewitnesses told Almasderonline.

7 Houthis, 3 government soldiers killed in fierce battles in Al-Bayda province

Seven Houthi militants were Killed and others wounded, as well as 3 government soldiers were killed and 9 wounded on Sunday in violent clashes between them in Nate district of in al Bayda province, central Yemen.
 
A military source told Almasdaronline that the government forces had taken control of Hathia area in Nate district and gained armed vehicles of the Houthis, amid the the group's militants retreat, while seven Houthis were reportedly captured, having surrendered to the government forces led by Mansouri.
 
The source pointed out that the government forces are advancing towards Al Munkteq area.
 
 Meanwhile, the Saudi-led Arab Coalition aircrafts have launched several raids on the Houthis sites in Jabal al-Dhahr located between al Fadhaha and Jamela al-Arif areas in Nate district.
 
In the meantime, battles are going on in al Arif region against the Houthis on the road linking the highway to the district in al Bayda city, according to the source.

Al Bayda: Pro-government forces seize control of al Mashwaf site in Nate'e district

The government forces along with the popular resistance took control on Saturday of al Mashwaf site, one of the strategic site overlooking al Monkate'e village of Nate'e district in al Bayda province, central Yemen, a military source said.
 
Eight Houthi gunmen were killed and 12 others were captured, while the fierce fighting between the two sides still ongoing, the source told Almasderonline
 
The government forces pushed large reinforcements led by the Commander of Beihan axis and brigade 26th Mika Major General Mfarih Bohaibih al Muradi, and the Commander of the 19th Infantry Brigade General Ali Saleh al Kolaibi al Masabi, and Sheikh Ahmed Saleh al Oqaili, the source added.
 
In Thera hill southern al Bayda, two resistance elements and an unknown number of Houthis were killed in clashes with the Houthis militias.
 
 
The clashes erupted after the Houthi attack on the government forces sites, where the popular resistance repulsed the attack and regained control of limited sites, while the Houthis responded to the resistance's progress by shelling a number of villages in Lauder district, according to a field source.

Al Jouf: Government forces seize control of al Yatma area, capture 45 Houthi

The government forces siezed control on Sunday of al Yatma area of Khab al Sha'af district in al Jouf province, northern Yemen, after heavy fighting against the Houthi militants, a field source said.
 
Al-Jouf Media Center, which publishes the province news, quoted the official spokesman of the sixth military zone Abdullah al Ashraf saying that the government forces advance in the areas surrounding al Yatma region, forcing the Houthis to retreat. 
 
Dozens of the Houthis were killed and wounded, in addition to the capture of 45 others, during the military operations, began on Saturday, to liberate Khab al Sha'af district, the center said. 
 
The government forces seized the Houthis military equipment, including 5 military vehicles and a number of heavy and medium weapons, according to the center. 
 
Meanwhile, the Saudi-led Arab coalition aircrafts launched three air raids targeted the Houthi sites and gatherings in al Libba and al Haija areas western al Masloub district, western Khab al Sha'af district.

Yemeni joint forces’s offensive in AL-Jawf province

In response to the Saudi-led coalition’s fatal air strikes that claimed the lives of about 13,000 people,mostly civilians , the sniper unit of the Yemeni joint  forces shot dead tow Saudi-led coalition’s paid fighters overnight in Jawf province, according to a military official on Monday.

The paid fighters were killed in Tabah-Baidhaa of Maslub district.

Saudi-led coalition’s offensive fails miserably leading to high losses amid their ranks in Marib province

In response to the Saudi-led coalition’s fatal air strikes that claimed the lives of about 13,000 people,mostly civilians ,the artillery force of the Yemeni joint forces shelled gatherings of Saudi-led coalition’s paid fighters overnight in Serwah district of Marib province , according to a  military official .

The artillery shelling aimed at paid fighters’ gatherings in Rabiaa valley, inflicting heavy losses amid their ranks.

At least 11 airstrikes struck Hajjah

The warplanes of the Saudi-led coalition conducted on Sunday 11 air raids on Hajjah governorate, a security official told YemenExtra.

The strikes struck Medi and Haradh district.

Yemen has been under daily attack waged by the Saudi-led coalition since March 26, 2015. The countless Saudi American air raids are accused of being used to commit war crimes against thousands of Yemeni innocent civilians.

‘Second Saudi F-15 hit by Yemeni forces over Sana’a’

Yemeni forces say they have successfully targeted a Saudi F-15 fighter jet just hours after downing another Saudi warplane.

According to Yemen’s Arabic-language al-Masirah network on early Monday, the F-15 was hit while flying over the capital Sana’a.

On Sunday, Yemeni air defense forces announced that they had intercepted and shot down a twin-engine and multi-role Panavia Tornado combat aircraft belonging to the Saudi-led military alliance over Kitaf wa al-Boqe’e district in the country’s northwestern mountainous province of Sa’ada.

Saudi-led coalition kills and injures 36,000 citizen, 250 thousand wounded: Report says

n Sunday, the Political Council Of Ansarulah (PCA) and the Joint Meeting Parties(JMP) have revealed report of the latest number of the dead and wounded citizens killed and wounded during the Saudi-led aggression backed by U.S., on the occasion of passing the 1000 day of the ongoing aggression. The report said death and wounded toll passed over 36,000 martyrs and wounded. Plus, 250,000 child died as a result of malnutrition.

This came during a joint press conference between PCA and the JMPs hold in Sana’a , which briefed the Saudi-led coalition massacres on Yemen during one thousand days of the aggression, stressing that these crimes and massacres are taking place with support of U.S., Israel and U.K.

The press conference stressed that the Saudi-led coalition committed genocide against the Yemenis, confirming that these crimes will not pass with no trial and punishment.

The joint final report for the crimes of Saudi-led coalition on Yemen indicates that the number of civilians being killed and wounded since the beginning of the air campaign on Yemen would amount to more than 36,145 martyr and wounded of innocent citizens.

*Air Raid Campaign*

The conference pointed out that the number of martyrs as a result of air raids and direct shelling by the Saudi-led coalition has reached more than 14 thousand martyrs, including 2, 950 children, more than 2, 061 women and 8, 997 men who were martyred.

The number of injures according to the report is more than 22, 132 citizens, including more than 2,756 children, 220 women and more than 17,000 men. The press conference confirmed that the figures of the report is not the total number of victims, as so many places were not being covered due to heavy bombardments on it.

*Humanitarian Aid*

The report said that more than 22 million Yemenis need humanitarian assistance, more than 11 million need food and health, about 8 million are in urgent need of assistance, nearly 3 million children and women are malnourished, over 400,000 are severely malnourished and more than 16 million people are food insecure.

The press conference revealed that half a million of children died due to severe malnutrition and that congenital malformations were increased due the exposure for the internationally banned weapons materials, and that more than 450,000 abortions were recorded in the Ministry of Health due to the aggression.

The press conference revealed that there are more than 3 and a half million internally displaced, and that 30% of those stranded outside Yemen are not allowed to back to Yemen due to air blockade imposed on Sana’a International Airport by aggression; these people are estimated to be about 70 thousand people.

According to the press conference, there are about 95,000 patients of citizens. These are not allowed to travel for treatment outside Yemen; about 14,300 patients died due to that blockade.

The press conference of Ansarullah and the Joint Meeting Parties also revealed that there were more than 2,050 disabled civilians.

It is also revealed that almost all economical and civilian life elements were destroyed, airports, communications networks, water wells, public and governmental institutions buildings, residential buildings, health faculties, economic, private and heritage institutions in whole and in part all were destroyed.

During the press conference, a member of the Political Bureau of Ansarullah, Abdul Wahab Al-Mahbashi, confirmed that the aggression continues to commit crimes against the Yemeni people until the moment, pointing out that about one thousand were martyred and wounded due to the air raids of aggression last December only.

For his part, a member of the Political Bureau of Ansarullah, Salim al-Mughalis, said the Saudi-American aggression uses human suffering and starvation as a weapon against Yemenis, noting that the international silent encouraged the coalition of aggression to commit more crimes.

The Secretary-General of Al Haq Party, Hassan Zaeid, said that the aggression destroyed everything, pointing out that these figures do not reflect the exact number of what was done by the air aggression, pointing at the same time that the figures are so much, stressing that the crimes of the coalition will not pass with no punishment.
