Scores of Syrians Killed of Shelling and Air Strikes, in Various Cities

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for human rights: the number of persons who were killed continues to rise in the Eastern Ghouta, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the rise of number of persons who were killed today, Friday, to 42 casualties at least including 14 children and 7 women, among them there are 11 casualties including 4 children were killed as a result of suffocation, which in turn rise to 82 at least including 22 children and 13 woman, the number of persons who were killed since Friday, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, where reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that some of the casualties and wounded suffocated as a result of the demolition of home basements due to the heavy and intense shelling on Douma city.

The trusted sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory of Rights that the number of injuries today has exceeds 500, including tens of children and tens of women, where more than 70 of them have suffered suffocation as a result of the demolition of home basements over them due to the heavy and intense shelling on the last area beyond the regime forces’ control in the Eastern Ghouta, which is the stronghold of Jaysh al-Islam, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that 11 people at least including 5 children had suffocated, after bombardment by a warplane on an area near the old cemetery at the northern outskirts of Douma city in the Eastern Ghouta.

Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that violent clashes taking place between the regime forces and their allied militiamen of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against Jaish Al-Islam in areas in the vicinity of Douma area, where the regime forces continue their attempts to achieve more advancement in the area after they managed today morning to advance in the farms of Douma from the direction of Al-Raihan area. The regime forces managed to advance in 50 farms in the area following series of ongoing ground and aerial shelling of the regime forces and their warplanes and helicopters, which target the city and its vicinity.

Homs Province –

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the regime forces shelled after the midnight of Thursday – Friday, places in the northern countryside of Homs, where they targeted areas in Teir Maalah village in conjunction with their targeting to areas in it by heavy machineguns, without information about casualties. 

Daraa Province –

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the regime forces targeted this morning, areas in Daraa Al-Balad in Dara city by heavy machineguns, while clashes took place after the midnight of Thursday – Friday, in the areas of Al-Abdly and other areas in Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa, between Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization against the rebel and Islamic factions, as a result of an attack by the former on the positions of the latter, accompanied by exchange of targeting between the both parties, without information about casualties so far.

16 people were killed on April 4, 2018, including 6 members of the regime forces and their allied militiamen, and 5 citizens were killed in different circumstances in Aleppo, Daraa and Homs

It increased to 6 including 3 fighters, the number of those who joined on Wednesday the Convoy of Syrian Revolution Martyrs.

In Aleppo province, 5 citizens were killed including 3 fighters of the factions operations in the northern countryside of Aleppo. they were killed by a missile fired by the regime forces north of Aleppo city, and 2 children were killed in shelling by the regime forces on areas in Al-Zarba town in the southern countryside of Aleppo.

In Homs province, a boy was killed in landmine explosion planted earlier by ISIS in the countryside of Al-Masoudia village in the eastern countryside of Homs.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that Jaish Khaled Ibn Al-Walid executed a woman from Al-Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa, where the execution took place in Ein Zakr town on charges of “espionage for the factions”.

And 6 members of the regime forces and their allied militiamen were killed as a result of the shelling and clashes with the “Islamic State” organization and the factions.

At least 3 fighters of the “Islamic State” organization and the factions of non-Syrian nationalities were killed in clashes and shelling of warplanes and helicopters and shelling on their areas of presence.

18 people were killed on April 3, 2018, including 3 members of the regime forces and their allied militiamen, and 9 citizens were killed in different circumstances in Hama, Daraa and Idlib

It increased to 3, the number of those who joined on Tuesday the Convoy of Syrian Revolution Martyrs.

In Idlib province, 7 citizens were killed. The causalities are 3 citizens including a child, were killed in shelling by warplanes today morning on areas in Korin town located in the southern countryside of Idlib, and 2 citizens were killed in bombardment of warplanes on market area in Ariha city southern Idlib city, and a woman and a child were killed in Al-Sukariya village as result of aerial shelling on areas in the villages located in the countryside of Jisr Al-Shoghour city in the western part of Idlib countryside.

In Hama province, a woman was killed by shelling of the regime forces on areas in the town of Al-Latamnah in the northern countryside of Hama.

In Daraa province, the body of a person was found dead in an area located between the towns of al-Ghariya and al-Haraq in the eastern countryside of Daraa, and there is no information about the nature and circumstances of his death.

Two fighters of the factions were killed in clashes against Jaish Khaled Ibn Al-Walid, which pledges allegiance to ISIS, in areas in the western countryside of Daraa.

And 3 members of the regime forces and their allied militiamen were killed as a result of the shelling and clashes with the “Islamic State” organization and the factions.

At least 4 fighters of the “Islamic State” organization and the factions of non-Syrian nationalities were killed in clashes and shelling of warplanes and helicopters and shelling on their areas of presence.

28 people were killed on April 2, 2018, including 16 members of the regime forces and their allied militiamen, and 3 citizens were killed in different circumstances in Hama and Idlib

It increased to 3, the number of those who joined on Monday the Convoy of Syrian Revolution Martyrs.

In Idlib province, 2 citizens were killed, child girl died affected by the injury she had as a result of bombardment by warplanes on areas in the outskirts of Tal Nabi Ayoub in Jabal Al-Zawiya, a man from Al-Dana town north of Marat Al-Noaman city were found dead and his body dumped at the outskirts of Koreen town in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the circumstances of his death is still unknown so far.

In the province of Hama, a citizen was killed in shelling by the regime forces on areas in Al-Damina village in the southern countryside of Aleppo.

It has increased to at least 204, the number of members of the regime forces and their allies within 20 days of battles in the desert of Al-Bukamal and the countryside of Deir Ezzor and southern the capital Damascus. It also increased to at least 69, the number of ISIS militants who were killed in the same battles since the recovery of the organization on the 13th of March. Tens of both parties were injured, and some of them are still in critical conditions, in addition to the missing and captured people of both parties.

And 5 members of the regime forces and their allied militiamen were killed as a result of the shelling and clashes with the “Islamic State” organization and the factions.

At least 4 fighters of the “Islamic State” organization and the factions of non-Syrian nationalities were killed in clashes and shelling of warplanes and helicopters and shelling on their areas of presence. 

After targeting displaced people of Ghouta and injuring about 15 of them, the Turkish border guards kill a child of the displaced people of south Damascus

A female child of the displaced people of al-Kadam neighbourhood of Damascus was killed after being shot by the Turkish border guards, while she was attempting to cross into the Turkish territory from Darkush area on the Syrian-Turkish border, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 1st of April 2018 that about 15 citizens most of them are displaced people from the Eastern Ghouta -including children and women- were injured when the Turkish Jandarma pursuit them while attempting to enter the Syrian-Turkish border to reach their relatives, however, the fact that they were shot by Turkish Jandarma caused their bus to be overturned and the driver to fled, while the wounded and who were in the bus were transferred to hospitals in Antakya area, amid fears of being arrested or violated by the forces of the Turkish border Guards.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 19th of March 2018 that it to 354 at least, including 66 child and 34 citizen women above the age of eighteen, the number of the casualties documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights since the start of the Syrian revolution, all of them were killed in the continued targeting by the Turkish border guards for the Syrian citizens who escaped from the military operation in their areas towards places in which they can find a safe haven that keeps them away of the death that is following them in their country Syria, in order for their children to have a better life and their fate doesn’t end up to be like the fate of more than 20 thousands children killed since the start of the Syrian revolution, or the fate of tens of thousands of other children who had permanent disabilities, or the fate of thousands of children who were dragged into the military operation and turned into fighters and bombers, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published at the end of July 2017.

 The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received in the past month and weeks several videos shows the victims of the Turkish border guards, of who were killed while they were trying to find a safe haven in Turkey, while a lot of the videos showed the Turkish border guards assaulting Syrian citizens after being arrested during their attempts to cross the border line, where members of the Turkish border guards beat and insult them, the last video SOHR has received was on Sunday the 30th of July 2017, and the video showed assault by hands and by a whip on several arrested young men, the video showed the young men being beaten brutally and insulted intentionally while being asked: “what do you have in Turkey to come to it? And are you smugglers?! Are you going to come to Turkey again?!”, then one of the members called his friend and commanded him to beat one of the arrested young men, and told the member who was recording the video: send me the video so I can publish it on WhatsApp, then he threatened them in case they returned to Turkey, saying: “If you are afraid of beaten why did you come to Turkey, do you want us to treat you good?!

Strikes Continue Against ISIS in Syria, Iraq

From a Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve News Release

SOUTHWEST ASIA, March 30, 2018 —

Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve and its partners continued to strike Islamic State of Iraq and Syria targets in designated parts of Syria and Iraq between March 23-29, conducting 11 strikes consisting of 12 engagements, Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve officials reported today.

Strikes in Syria

Yesterday in Syria, coalition military forces conducted a strike consisting of one engagement against ISIS targets near Abu Kamal. The strike destroyed an ISIS building.

On March 28, coalition military forces conducted a strike consisting of one engagement against ISIS targets near Abu Kamal. The strike destroyed an ISIS tactical unit.

On March 27, coalition military forces conducted a strike consisting of one engagement against ISIS targets near Abu Kamal. The strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit.

On March 26, coalition military forces conducted a strike consisting of one engagement against ISIS targets near Abu Kamal. The strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit.

There were no reported strikes in Syria on March 25.

On March 24, coalition military forces conducted a strike consisting of one engagement against ISIS targets near Abu Kamal. The strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit.

On March 23, coalition military forces conducted two strikes consisting of two engagements against ISIS targets near Abu Kamal. The strikes engaged two ISIS tactical units and destroyed a fighting position.

Strikes in Iraq

There were no reported strikes in Iraq March 28-29.

On March 27, coalition military forces conducted a strike consisting of two engagements against ISIS targets near Ramadi. The strike destroyed an ISIS tunnel system.

On March 26, coalition military forces conducted a strike consisting of one engagement against ISIS targets near Qayyarah. The strike destroyed three ISIS tunnels.

On March 25, coalition military forces conducted a strike consisting of one engagement against ISIS targets near Qayyarah. The strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed an ISIS watercraft.

There were no reported strikes in Iraq on March 24.

On March 23, coalition military forces conducted a strike consisting of one engagement against ISIS targets near Rutbah. The strike destroyed an ISIS vehicle.
