Two injured, one dead in attempted murder-suicide

An attempted murder-suicide left one person dead and two injured in an early morning shooting in Jefferson Davis County.
Jefferson Davis County Sheriff Ron Strickland said the shooting happened around 3 a.m. Wednesday at a home in the 200 block of Smith Jones Road.
Strickland said a domestic dispute between Lee Sandifer and his 47-year-old girlfriend, Christine Lewis, led to the shooting. Sandifer shot both Lewis and the couple's 10-year-old son in the head before shooting himself, according to Strickland.
Harvey Lewis, Christine’s father and the 10-year-old's grandfather, lived with his daughter, and said Sandifer shot the 10-year-old while he was asleep on the couch before moving into a bedroom to shoot Christine. Harvey said Sandifer fired two shots, the first one missing his daughter and the second grazing her head. Harvey said Sandifer used a pistol the family did not recognize. Harvey said his daughter and Sandifer had been together for 10 years.
The Jefferson Davis County Coroner's Office sent Sandifer's body to the State Crime Lab in Jackson for an autopsy.
Strickland said Lewis was taken to Forrest General Hospital, treated for her injuries and released. He said the 10-year-old was taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center and was last listed in critical condition.
Strickland called it a "sad situation," and asked for prayers for the family that the 10-year-old boy lives.
Strickland said the investigation is ongoing.

A 10-year-old boy and his father are dead after a murder-suicide in Jefferson Davis County Wednesday.
Jefferson Davis County Sheriff Ron Strickland said a domestic dispute between Lee Sandifer and his 47-year-old girlfriend, Christine Lewis, led to a shooting at a home in the 200 block of Smith Jones Road. Sandifer shot both Lewis and the couple's 10-year-old son, Zachary Sandifer, in the head before shooting himself, according to Strickland.
Harvey Lewis, Christine’s father and Zachary’s grandfather, lived with his daughter, and said Lee shot the 10-year-old while he was asleep on the couch before moving into a bedroom to shoot Christine. Zachary died at University of Mississippi Medical Center Thursday. The sheriff’s department said his organs will donated and his body sent to the State Crime Lab in Jackson for an autopsy.

All this is ignored by the war and gun industry agents in the media and politics, who only focus on spectacular mass shootings, particularly if they can make them appear related to terrorism.
They don't want to admit that the US has a major gun violence problem, caused basically by the continuous production and sales of all kinds of guns, and making them available to everybody who wants to buy them, even to mentally-ill people.

Tens of thousands of Americans are killed every year in domestic and workplace gun violence, tens of thousands more are injured. All of that is for the benefit of the gun industry, and indirectly for the benefit of the war industry, both of which promote violence in the United States.
Zionist-controlled politicians and media are dead silent about this continuous holocaust, which is perpetrated against the American people on daily basis. However, they wait for a rare gun shooting incident perpetrated by a Muslim, then they repeat mentioning it, as incitement against Muslims generally, and Muslim Americans in particular, ignoring the continuous American holocaust, which is perpetrated by non-Muslims.
The objective is to justify the continuous US wars and invasions of the Muslim World since 1990, in order for the war industry beneficiaries to justify the enormous and unprecedented US national debt, which has reached more than $19 trillion, as a result of the permanent-war military spending.
For example, in 2016, there were 58,241shooting incidents, including 385 mass shooting, resulting in the killing of 15,060 Americans and injuring 30,607. Of these, there was only one incident perpetrated by a Muslim and resulting in the killing of 49 people in an Orlando, Florida night club.
The Zionist media, together with the war industry agents and the Zionist-controlled politicians, kept mentioning this incident as a terrorist attack, just because the perpetrator was a Muslim, while totally ignoring the other 58,240 incidents, which resulted in the killing of 15,011 Americans!
In 2015, there were 53,228 shooting incidents, resulting in the killing of 13,415 Americans. Of these, there were only two incidents perpetrated by Muslims and resulting in the killing of 18 Americans.
The Zionist media, together with the war industry agents and Zionist-controlled politicians, kept mentioning these two incidents while totally ignoring the other 53,226 incidents, which resulted in the killing of 13,398 Americans!
The end outcome is that the American people are indeed actual victims of a continuous warmongering campaign, Islamophobia, and a daily holocaust, perpetrated against them by the war industry beneficiaries and their agents in the media and politics.

In 2015, there were 13,415 Americans who were killed and 27,000 who were injured by other Americans in 53,226 incidents of gun violence, including 330 mass shootings.
In 2014, there were 12,588 Americans who were killed and 23,035 who were injured by other Americans in 51,811 incidents of gun violence, including 280 mass shootings.
