6,000 Illegal Israeli Settlement Units in Jerusalem, Jewish Settlers Violate the Sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Run Over a Palestinian Little Girl in Al-Khalil

July 9, 2017

Editor's Note:

The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis. This cannot continue without the full financial and media support from Zionists as well as financial and military support from the US-EU governments, which have been active participant in the persecution and subjugation of the Palestinian people.

The Israeli occupation government has received more than $3.8 billion annually from the US successive administrations, Democrat and Republican alike, to enable it to continue the subjugation and persecution of the Palestinian people. The Obama administration made sure that the US support for the Israeli occupation government will continue by obligating its successors to give the racist, apartheid, Zionist state $38 billion in the next ten years.

Israeli Jewish Settlers Violate the Sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, Escorted by Police

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC) + -

Hordes of Israeli settlers stormed on Sunday morning holy al-Aqsa Mosque, in Occupied Jerusalem, via the Maghareba Gate.

Reporting from Occupied Jerusalem, a PIC news correspondent said Israeli cops unbolted the Maghareba Gate and cordoned off the plazas of al-Aqsa Mosque shortly before Israeli settlers showed up at the scene and defiled the site.

At the same time, the Israeli occupation police and authorities continue to prevent dozens of Muslim men and women from performing their prayers at al-Aqsa—the third holiest site in Islam.

The assault makes part of the morning break-in shift carried out by Israeli fanatic settlers at al-Aqsa place of worship that starts almost daily at 07:00 a.m.

Palestinian Killed After Being Hit By A Settler’s Motorcycle

July 7, 2017 11:52 AM IMEMC News

Updated: Palestinian medical sources have reported, Friday, that a man from the al-Khader town, south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, was killed after being struck by a Motorcycle , driven by an Israeli colonist, while riding his motorcycle, at bypass road #60, west of Bethlehem.

The  Palestinian, identified as Omar Ahmad Issa, 37,  used to sell coffee and tea at an intersection near where he was struck and killed.

Israeli medics were called upon the scene as the road is under full Israeli security and military control, and took him to an Israeli hospital.

The settler is from Efrat illegal Israeli colony, built on privately-owned Palestinian lands south of the al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem.

Sources at the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC) said that the Israeli side is demanding an autopsy, but the family is rejecting these demands.

Ahmad Salah, the coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Israeli Annexation Wall and Colonies in al-Khader, said it remains unknown whether the incident was a deliberate attack or merely a traffic accident.

Salah added that the Palestinian was moved to an Israeli hospital where he died from his serious wounds.

Many Palestinians have been shot to death, especially since October of last year, under the pretexts of carrying out “deliberate ramming attacks,” after their cars crashed into Israeli vehicles, including army and police jeeps.

In most incident is was clear that the alleged attacks were traffic accidents, but since they involved Israeli settlers or soldiers, the Palestinians were shot under the mere suspicion of carrying out deliberate attacks, and many Israeli media agencies labeled the accidents are “terrorism.”

European Union (EU) demanded Israeli authorities stop settlement activities

RAMALLAH, (PIC) + -

The European Union (EU) demanded Israeli authorities stop settlement activities following Israel’s announcement of expansion plans in occupied Jerusalem.

EU spokesman in the West Bank, Shadi Othman, declared his total rejection to the Israeli newly-declared settlement projects in east Jerusalem.

Othman’s condemnatory statement follows Israeli announcement of 1500 new settlement units in occupied Jerusalem neighborhoods.

According to Quds Press, Othman deplores the recent settlement announcements as “it could hamper or undermine any Palestinian-Israeli future negotiations.”

The EU considers the establishment of Israeli settlements in the Israeli-occupied territories illegal under international law, he said.

He pointed out that contacts are made to put pressures on Israeli authorities to freeze settlement growth.

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC) + -

A new round of illegal Israeli settlement expansion including the construction of 6,000 illegal settlement units will be witnessed in the Occupied Palestinian city of Jerusalem, according to sources in the Israeli Jerusalem municipality on Wednesday.

Israel Hayom newspaper said, quoting deputy mayor of Jerusalem Meir Turgeman, that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "has fulfilled his promises" and gave the green light to resume the settlement activity in the city.

Turgeman affirmed that Jerusalem municipality intends to approve the construction of 6,000 settlement units by the end of July.

The announcement came as 200 other settlement units were approved for construction by the municipality in the settlements surrounding Jerusalem.
