The Chief of Staff of the Iranian army said on Saturday that Iran has
ambitions to build up a naval military base in Yemen or in Syria, where
the Shiite state has influence in these two countries.
It is worth that Iran has military ambitions in the Arabian Peninsula, and this is not the first time a high-ranking Iranian military official discloses Iran's intention to intervene in Yemen's crisis, not to mention the obvious Iranian support for the Houthis.
