US Air raids hit Qaeda Yemen camp, militants killed: official

ADEN, Yemen

(US) Warplanes attacked an al Qaeda camp in southern Yemen on Sunday, killing and wounding a number of militants, a local official said.

The aircraft launched four air strikes on militants of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) near the port city of Mukalla on Yemen's south coast, he said.

The official said the planes were from a Saudi-led coalition which over the past year has tried to stop the Iran-allied Houthi group from completing its takeover of the country.

It was no immediately possible to confirm the affiliation of the aircraft. A spokesman for the Saudi-led alliance could not be contacted for immediate comment.

U.S. aircraft have staged attacks on AQAP fighters in Yemen in recent weeks.

AQAP has exploited the Yemeni war to expand its control, seizing Mukalla, the capital of Hadramout province, last year and recruiting more followers.

The Houthis have been battling forces loyal to Yemen's Saudi-backed President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi since March 2015 in a conflict that has cost more than 6,200 lives.

Army, popular committees purge several areas in Taiz

The army and popular committees managed to purge several areas in Taiz province of the invaders and the aggression hirelings, a military official said on Sunday.

He explained that the army and committees dominated the mountainous range overlooking Karish area, Jaribah village south of the province and the villages of Sureih, Hadeed, al-Alfaqi, Tabin, Aloob and Sahi in Shuraija and Karish.

Saudi aggression War Jets launches six raids On Alghayl District

Saudi aggression war jets launched six raids on Alghayl district in Jawf province.

The local source explained that the raids targeted Helwan, Epar Valley and Alathbah in Alghayl district causing damage to the citizens' farms and houses.

13 people kills by Saudi airstrikes on Mqubnh in Taiz

Almotamar.net - 13 people killed and some other were injured in a series of air raids launched today by the Saudi aggression on Mqubnh in Taiz province, a local official said.

The official said the Saudi warplanes targeted a car near a popular market in the region Aloakhlud in Mqubnah area, and they damaged many homes and private property, cars and roads.
Saudi warplanes launched two raids on Hannah in Allowazeih, which resulted in damage to many homes and public property and roads
Airline aggression also launched four raids on Alillah Mountain - in the west of Taiz.

In three raids, The Saudi war jets targeted residential city of Electrical Workers in Mokha, resulting in damage to several houses and cars.

Five people injured by Saudi airstrikes in Taiz

At least five people were injured in a series of air raids launched on Wednesday by the Saudi aggression on Taiz province.

The Saudi war jets targeted residential neighborhoods in the al-Seteen Street (Sixtieth St.) north of Taiz city, a local official said, adding besides the five wounded people, many houses, shops, public facilities and roads were damaged.

The official said the Saudi warplanes targeted again areas of al-Thabab and al-Rabi'ai in the western suburbs of Taiz city, resulting in serious damage to the people's houses, farms and cars.

The Saudi aggression also struck the intersection in area al-Thakera in alkaeda area, he added.

The official explained that the Saudi airstrikes were intended to back up the mercenaries of the Saudi aggression who have suffered heavy losses in human and ordnance since the today's dawn, when the army and popular committees forced them out of many areas in the north and west of Taiz city.

Saudi airstrikes kill Innocent People in Hodeida

Three of citizens were killed and eight others wounded on Wednesday in a series of air raids launched by the Saudi aggression war jets on the Ahadjilh district in Hodeida city.

A local official said the hostile warplanes bombed a house belonging to Nasser al-Sharafi, on Ahadjilh district in Hodeida province, which killing the three and injuring eight of citizens and destroying the house completely.

The source condemned the continued flight of aggression in its targeting of houses and residential quarters and property of citizens and kill innocent people, women and children under the silence of the international community and human rights organizations about the crimes and massacres against the Yemeni people.
