Scores of Syrians Killed, Neighborhoods Destroyed, in Fighting and US-Russian Air Strikes

Airstrikes target areas in al- Raqqa, while some people wounded in Idlib

SOHR, December 15, 2015

 Idlib Province:

The helicopters dropped a barrel bomb on the town of al- Hbeit in the southern countryside of Idlib leading to wound some citizens.

Al- Raqqa Province:

Warplanes carried out several raids on the vicinity of al- Raqqa city, no information about casualties.

Russian airstrikes targeted Idlib and losses in Hama

Idlib province:

Syrian regime forces bombarded al-Najia town. Rose to 5 the number of people who were killed by Russian airstrikes in Ma’ra al-Nu’man.

Hama provinc:

2 civilians including a child were killed by an IED exploded in al-Madiq town. Explosive barrels targeted Kafar Zita and al-Latamina. Regime forces bombarded areas of Zoro al-Sos and Ramila, no reports of losses.

Clashes in Dar’a and bombardment on Homs

Homs province:

Syrian regime forces targeted areas of Talbisa, Hosh Hejjo, and Ter Ma’la, no reports of losses. Islamic battalions targeted regime forces in al-Mahatta village what devastated  a Shelka vehicle for the regime. Russian warplanes targeted Talbisa city amid clashes around Ter Ma’ka between regime forces and Islamic battalions. 

Dar’a province:

Clashes took place betwen regime forces and rebels around al-Naema town amid regime’s bombardment on the town. Regime forces detained 4 civilians from Qeta town including 2 brothers and led them to unknown destination. A woman was killed by shells fell on Dar’a al-Mahatta.

40 soldiers killed by an attack in Aleppo

Aleppo province:

40 soldiers in Syrian regime forces were killed by an attack by Jabhat al-Nusra and Islamic battalions around Banis village in the southern countryside, reports of killing a number of rebels during the same attack. 6 people who were killed by Russian airstrikes in Kafar Hamra.

A man was killed by Russian airstrikes on Kafar Hamra earlier. Russian warplanes also raided Kashtaar, Der Jamal, and Tanab village. Clashes continue between regime forces against Jabhat al-Nusra and rebel in the southern countryside of Aleppo. Regime forces bombarded al-Maysar neighborhood leading to material damages. 

Rebels kill 14 Hezbollah in Aleppo

Aleppo province:

Rose to 14, the number of Hezbollah militants who were killed by clashes against Islamic battalions and Jabhat al-Nusra in the southern countryside. 2 children were killed by IS  landmine exploded in them. IS bombarded areas of Tal Aran town which is inhabited by Kurdish civilians what killed a man and wounded others.
