OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)--

Dozens of extremist illegal Israeli settlers broke into the sanctuary yards of Al-Aqsa Mosque on Thursday morning, while the IOF prevented Palestinian worshipers under 50 years from entering the mosque.

Aqsa Foundation for Endowment and Heritage said that the Israeli soldiers have prevented Palestinians, under 50 years, from performing Fajr (dawn) prayers, forcing them to pray outside the mosque.

Meanwhile, 50 Jewish settlers stormed al-Aqsa mosque through al-Magharbeh Gate and wandered through its yards under military protection.

The Foundation pointed that the Palestinian worshipers protested the Israeli heavy security measures on the mosque's gates, chanting Allahu Akbar (God is the Greatest).

Jewish organizations gathering under the name of "the Coalition for the Temple" have called on settlers to storm the Mosque next Saturday. They called upon the police to allow them to celebrate the Yom Kippur holiday in al-Aqsa mosque.

Israeli police spokesman Yohanna Danino has announced that Israeli police have agreed to give permission for Jews to enter into the Mosque on Saturday, considering it a part of the so-called "Jewish Temple". He said, "That is an undisputed right for Jews."

Hebrew radio: One Palestinian wounded in a shootout at Joseph's tomb

NABLUS, (PIC)--

The Hebrew radio said that a Palestinian resistance fighter opened fire at Israeli occupation soldiers escorting Jewish settlers who visited on Thursday morning Yousuf's tomb in Nablus city.

It added that the soldiers responded to the source of fire and badly wounded the Palestinian attacker, noting that he was taken in serious condition to Beilinson hospital in Petah Tikva settlement.

In the same context, the Palestinian information center (PIC) reporter in Nablus city said that several Palestinian young men suffered injuries at dawn Thursday during clashes with the Israeli soldiers who provided protection for a group of extremist Jewish settlers at Yousuf's tomb.

He added that the clashes erupted immediately in several areas after several buses carrying scores of settlers entered the city and stopped near the tomb.

Four Palestinian young men were taken prisoners by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during the events.

In another incident, five young men suffered different injuries during violent clashes with invading troops in Askar refugee camp to the east of Nablus city.

A Red Crescent source reported that the IOF detained one of the wounded young men in addition to three others during the confrontations.

The IOF also raided and ransacked some homes in Askar refugee camp.

Israeli minister and illegal settlers storm Al-Aqsa

[ 11/09/2013 - 07:46 PM ]

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)--

Housing Minister of the Israeli occupation government, Uri Ariel , accompanied by dozens of settlers, stormed the Al-Aqsa mosque on Wednesday under Israeli police protection.

Al-Aqsa Foundation for Endowments and Heritage pointed out in a press statement that nearly 30 settlers, accompanied by a number of rabbis and nearly 70 Jewish students stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and organized a tour for half an hour in different parts of its courtyards.

It stressed that the raids in Al-Aqsa Mosque represent "fierce attack officially and systematically supported by the government, and aim to divide the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and turn its yards into public squares under the Israeli occupation municipality."

Al-Aqsa Foundation stressed that the attempts to impose this reality by the force of arms will not give legitimacy to the occupation in Al-Aqsa, which will remain a purely Muslim property.

The Foundation called for organizing an Islamic Palestinian Arab move to support the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied city of Jerusalem, and protect Al-Aqsa and the holy sites from the Israeli continued abuses and violations.
