Israeli Police Shoots a Tourist in the Church of Holy Sepulcher

The Israeli occupation government police shot and wounded on Saturday a tourist who reportedly attempted to stab a police officer in the Church Of Holy Sepulcher.

The police claimed that the policemen had no choice but to shoot the tourist as he refused to drop the knife and attempted to attack some worshipers.

Israeli sources said that the attack does not seem to be politically motivated while the police did not reveal information regarding the attacker.

According to a police spokesperson, police officers tried to subdue the tourist but he “did not surrender”. He was moved to the Hadassah Israeli hospital suffering mild wounds.

Initial investigation revealed that the attacker did not carry any identification and that an investigated was initiated.
