Jurassic World is the Fourth Film of the Jurassic Park
science-fiction series, which
was released June 12, 2015. It was directed by Colin Trevorrow and
produced by
Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley.
The Main Cast Members are Chris Pratt
as Owen, the velociraptor expert and trainer Bryce Dallas Howard as
Claire Dearing, the park’s operations manager
The other cast members include Nick Robinson as Zach Mitchell, one
of Claire’s nephews and the older brother of Gray. Another Member is
Ty Simpkins as Gray Mitchell, one of Claire’s nephews and the
younger brother of Zack. Finally,
Katie McGrath
as Zara Young, Claire's personal assistant
The movie starts when Claire invites her nephews to Jurassic World
in
Isla Nublar, Costa Rico. So, they got on a plane and when they
arrive there they meet Clair’s assistant Zara. She tells them that
their Aunt will meet them later. She shows them to their rooms, to
put their luggage there before they get out to the fun.
Meanwhile, Claire is checking to make sure that everything is going
well. Then she meets the expert trainer Owen and asks him for his
expert advice on the new attraction, “Indominus.”
When he asks her about how long has it been in isolation, she says
that it was so since it was created in the lab it’s a hybrid. Then,
Owen says that it shouldn’t leave isolation. She replies that they
expect him to change it like he did with the velociraptor. He tells
her that he doesn’t change them, they control each other because
they have social rules they follow. He added that this hybrid may
not follow the social rules. So, he suggests to keep it isolated
because who knows what it will do if it gets out.
Then Owen asks Claire about how long those claw marks have been
there on the wall. She says that she doesn’t know. So, Claire sends the guards
to look into the matter. However, Indominus fools them by putting
scratches on the wall and it kills them. Then it rams the gate and
it gets free.
At this point, Claire calls for containment on that part of the
Island, so it doesn’t get any further to the amusement area were all
the people are. As the guards are tracking it in the forest they
find out that it has taken out its GPS tracker.
Claire asks Owen about how Indominus took out its tracker. He
replies that it has remembered where the genetic engineers put it
inside her. He suggests that she pulls the men back quickly because
they have no idea what they are up against.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the island, everyone is having fun
because they have no idea what is going on yet. Claire’s nephews,
Zach and Gray, leave her assistant, Zara, to have fun on their own.
They get into a sphere-looking moving machine to get a much closer
look at the animals.
When they encounter Indominus they see it killing for sport. Then it
sees them, cracks the glass of the sphere but it gets its head stuck
in the machine. This gives them a little time to run away.
Then, Claire calls her assistant, Zara, and asks her about her
nephews. Zara says she has lost them. Then Claire asks Owen for help
to find her nephews while the guards are dealing with Indominus.
Claire and Owen start heading to the forest and see what Indominus
has done to the other animals, killing them for sport. Then they
stop their jeep to find the sphere-looking machine broken into
pieces.
Owen and Claire see footprints on the ground and they follow the
footprints hoping this will lead them to Zack and Grey. However,
they find the bodies of the guards who tried to stop Indominus.
To make a Long story short, the Island was taken over by dinosaurs,
which were fleeing from Indominus, who was killed at the end by Owen
and the
velociraptor
he domesticated.
Finally, Owen finds Claire’s nephews and rescues them. Their parents
come to take them back home and the Island is closed off.
All in all, it is an OK movie. The actors are good at their roles
and the movie is somewhat enjoyable.
Concerning effects, the director and the technical team did a good
job in creating the hybrid dinosaur, Indominus, other
dinosaur species, and the several suspense scenes. In particular, I enjoyed the scene when they first
showed Indominus and how realistic it looked like. Another enjoyable
scene was the Costa Rican Island, how green and vibrant it looked
and how that makes you imagine that you were there.
However, this movie is an over kill because they have already killed
the idea with Movie Two and Movie Three: (Oh! No! Dinosaurs are out
of control! Oh! My God. They’re going to kill us)! Well, what do you
expect when you create these dinosaurs? They’re not pets!
The best one in the series was the first because the idea was
inventive. Directors and producers should have stopped there but,
you know, they can't resist the money lure.
