Lecture on Islam and Hinduism

JEDDAH, 13 April 2004 — Dr. Zakir Abdul Karim Naik, a renowned scholar on Islam and comparative religion, will give a lecture in English on “Similarities between Hinduism and Islam” on Thursday, the organizers said.

Organized by the Cooperative Office for Call & Guidance in the Industrial City, the lecture will be held at Al-Sorayia residential compound near Hajati Supermarket in the Industrial City, Phase One. The organizers have invited people of all faiths to attend the lecture, which will be followed by an open question and answer session. Special seating arrangements have been made for women.

Dr. Naik, who has lectured in the US, Canada, Britain and Australia, is the head of the Islamic Research Foundation based in Bombay. Thursday’s lecture will start at 9 p.m. For more information on the program, contact 057263306.
