(By Khaldoun Gharaybeh, 2/21/03).

The US "Road Map" of William Burns, following the same destiny of the Mitchel Report, the Tenet's Understanding, and the Zinni's efforts. Competing for the job are four categories of opportunists, from right to left: 1. A person busy away from politics for 20 years. 2. A person with a big ego thinking that nobody else is better for the job. 3. A businessman who argues that success in business is the evidence for success in leading the people out of their crisis. 4. A life-long activist who doesn't see anybody else better than him for the job.

The last category (first left) represents the average Palestinians who is only thinking about daily life of the people under occupation and the prisoners in various Israel prisons. He is the last person in the world to be concerned about who is going to be the next Palestinian prime minister. Of course, he has never contemplated that he will be one.
