He Sees, He Knows

God sees you are tired
He wraps you in His embrace
The trials and errors of life
The agonies you must face
He knows how much you suffer
The utter despair you feel
The brave faces worn
In atrocities liars conceal

God sees the children of Palestine
Iraq and Afghanistan too
The contempt of warring nations
The destruction of what they do
He knows your innocent hearts
He listens to every prayer
Your struggle born from truth
The torment you're forced to bear

God sees and knows the order
Of a new world they inflict
Though not our place to judge
Only He can convict
To innocent hearts we offer
The only thing left to give
Love balanced with justice
And an effort to forgive.
