A Cynical Speech L. E. Miller Al-Jazeerah, 9/26/03
The United States of America is the most powerful nation on this planet, today. Tomorrow may be a different story, as the European Union, China and Russia make plans to position themselves to be a counter-balance to the rogue regime they've witnessed commit the massacre of thousands in Iraq, when a corrupt neo-con cabal led by the "Useful Idiot" Bush assume power. Bush read a cynical speech delivered by a cynical regime to a credulous world. I was astounded by his arrogance, deceptions, and contempt for all citizens who have a memory and critical faculties. Bush's bizarre screed contained three major themes: Firstly, 9/11 ... 9/11 ... 9/11 is cynically evoked in order to permit the U.S. and Israel to commit any atrocity desired by the neo-cons who will label anyone a "terrorist", who refuses to bow down and worship at the altar of the global corporate empire. Oddly, our American Revolutionary fore-fathers were labelled "terrorists" by the British, and condemned for creating chaos. I am sick and tired of the 9/11 tragedy being used and abused over-and-over again, in an insane attempt to justify destroying our U.S. Constitution, and waging illegal and immoral incursions into other countries that pose no threat to the U.S.A. Having done the dirty deed in Iraq, Bush then demands that other nations step-up and provide cannon-fodder and big-bucks to bail him out of the mess he created. By the way, he rules (unilaterally) that Iraq won't be allowed their independence until He, Emperor Bush, decides it is the right moment; presumably after Halliburton, Carlyle Group, Bechtel, and Bil Oil, have plundered the guerrilla quagmire, for all it's worth. Bush called Iraq under Saddam Hussein a "squalid, vicious tyranny", that He was right to destroy, because He "works for peaceful change" rather than "those who adopt methods of gangsters". Hmmm ... I haven't quite seen the "peaceful change" concept in the neo-con ideology of "Pre-emptive Warfare". But Bush believes that any regime that wastes its resources on building massive armaments, WMDs, and palaces for its' leaders, instead of on infrastructure, schools and hospitals, is evil. Perhaps the Bush Regime should take a look in the mirror... Ever visit his palace at Crawford, Texas, and then go down and see the crumbling infrastructure, lack of education and health care in Brownsville, Texas? Meanwhile, the Defence Contractors with a vested interested in a bloated Military Industrial Complex, providing jobs to ex-Pentagon and ex-Defense Department Officials (e.g. obese George Shultz and a morass of ex-Generals) are given cushy jobs so they can deliver top-secret contracts bilking the American Taxpayer out of billions per year (>$450 Billion, in excess of the next 18 richest nations combined), to enrich the war-profiteers and robber-barons. Read "Journo claims proof of WMD lies: Pilger has evidence that Rice & Powell said in 2001, that Saddam Hussein Posed No Threat" on http://new.globalfreepress.com/article.pl?sid=03/09/23/0447229 . The invasion of Iraq was devised by the neo-con PNAC gang, comprising Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Wolfowitz, Perle, et al. long before 9/11, using Bush-the-Useful-Idiot, for the purposes of global domination by installing a neo-fascist corporate empire; enriching corporate cronies; and, enslaving the American and Iraqi people. Secondly, Bush has the audacity to call for a fight against proliferation of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction. Is this to apply to all nations of the world, except for the USA? Bush recently persuaded our rubber-stamp Congress to approve squandering billions on mini-nuclear weapons programme and other wasteful boon-doggles that won't protect us, but in fact, pose even greater dangers. The neo-con psychotic ideologues lusting for global domination (PNAC), want the USA to squander trillions on an insane arms-build-up, to rule the world by force, and they want everyone else to disarm. Read "Senate approves nuclear spending - Sen. Feinstein predicts Bush's policy will result in 'arms race'", by Ian Hoffman on http://www.oaklandtribune.com/Stories/0,1413,82~1865~1637866,00.html . Thirdly, Bush plays the "humanitarian card" ... it's hard to argue with fighting AIDs, disease, hunger, and of course, sex with little children ... Then he played the "slavery card" and condemned the trade in young children, women, and others. "Leave 'em all tearful and begging for more" was Gypsy Rose Lee's mantra. No one is going to argue with helping the most vulnerable, so like the "Flag, Mother, and Apple Pie", Bush ends with a crocodile-tear-jerking appeal, that was designed to make all the U.N. representatives give a hearty applause: Headline by Karl Rove: "UN Applaudes Bush" ... Of course, tomorrow Bush will conveniently forget about helping those in need. Refer to "Bush cuts overseas family planning aid" on http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=1508&ncid=751&e=7 &u=/afp/20030829/hl_afp/us_abortion_aid_bush and "State Dept. Cuts AIDS Help to Asia, Africa" on http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/news/breaking_news/6632572.htm The entire performance was a despicable charade, devised to gain support for a corrupt, bungling, and idiotic Bush Regime, who have used lies, deceit, and falsehoods to corrupt the U.S. Government and wage an illegal and immoral incursion-turned-bloody-guerrilla-quagmire. Bush's hypocritical credo: "do as I say, not as I do"... as his family and that of the Bush regime are becoming richer and richer, while the rest of us suffer and sacrifice. Doesn't anyone else see the hypocrisy in their condemnation of a regime callous to the needs of their people? Can Bush's Brain (Gen. Karl Rove & Cheney) fool all of the people all of the time? Nope, because some of us aren't fooled by the Bush Regime ... who are cynical manipulators perpetrating their "bait-and-switch" scam to rape America and Iraq. Bush ended with "God Bless You All" ... I warn you God Help You All, who don't see past the Bush Regime's corrupt "shell game" of global corporate empire. The Bush Gang are ruthlessly pursuing their neo-con Business Plan, and it isn't going to make the world a better place, unless you're already on the "top of the heap".
