He also announced that the US does not intend to "usurp" Iraqi oil. Odama replied that he himself never heard of the administration's plans for Iraq. This seems to be either a change in US policy in Iraq or maybe Khalilzad doesn't know the policy. (Assafir, 6/7/05).
