A booby-trapped car parked in front of a police station with a body inside blew up when the police arrived to examine it. The blast left two police officers wounded. Palestinian members of the Israeli parliament tried to stop the demolition but they were beaten by Israeli police on the site. These were Azmi Bishara (who was beaten most), Ahmed Al-Tibi, Essam Mukhawal, Jamal Zahalqah, and Muhammed Barakah (Assafir, 6/6/05).
