Iranian presidential candidate, Rafsanjani, campaigning in Tehran University yesterday. He pledged to continue reforms in a bid to earn votes of followers of President Khatami (Assafir, 6/22/05).
Saudi security officers and citizens standing in the site of fire exchange in Jeddah yesterday, where two members of Al-Qaeda were killed by security officers. An official statement mentioned that they were responsible for killing the security officer, Mubarak Al-Suwat, in Makkah, on Saturday (Assafir, 6/22/05).

Yesterday, Syrian government organized a border tour for journalists and diplomats to see the border with Iraq in order to assure taking necessary measures to prevent Arab youngmen to enter Iraq. The flag of the Arab Ba'ath Party, the flag of Palestine, is seen flying on the border. (Assafir, 6/22/05).
