I am so ashamed of our US administration.
I am so ashamed of our US administration.
What are they trying to do?
If there is a chance for peace, let's start there. Our officials are arrogant, appear to have no heart or soul and why so blind to the truth.
Raised catholic, although no longer, due to the same type of arrogance, no heart, no real soul and certainly no real truth. Why can't the good people of this world take over and accept every living person as an equal and respect different beliefs. Diversity is what keeps things interesting. Respect needs to be shown.
There are always two sides to every story. There is no one on this planet who is better or more special than any other.
God/Allah/Great Spirit/Buddha/Ghandi and any other great and powerful higher power, please grant wisdom to those who lack it.
There's got to be a better way. Peace is the only way.
Since man has been warring since the beginning of time..............isn't it about time we made changes...........for war to be done............. and to learn how to love our fellow man as we love our families and friends?

Perhaps the most astonishing aspect of this speech, is the fact that these two clowns do not even recognize the hypocrisy that it is grounded in!
The fact that both, the U.S and Britain continue to provide funding and military support for Israel, is well documented.
In addition, when Israel has found itself in violation of international law, the U.S has vetoed any resolution that would have held Israel accountable for its actions while the U.K has either opted to go along with the U.S or abstain from voting, in order to protect Israel and the U.S.
If the U.S and U.K can openly support Israel (who maintains military superiority over everyone in the region), why shouldn't Syria, Iran and other support Hizb'Allah or Hamas for that matter?
The stench of hypocrisy has truly clouded the judgment of these two war criminals!

The attack on UN post, killing four observer soldier is a deliberate attempt to show disregard to UN objectives in West Asian region. Such acts cannot help Israeli citizens to earn world opinion or establish long lasting peaceful co-existence with Arabs. The history stands witness, the promised land gifted to Israel was not free of intrigue or long drawn strategy. The Israelis are put in front-line to face Arab hostilities, protecting interest of America and its allies. The Israeli innocents have paid enough with their precious lives.
The tragedy is Israelis are groomed in such a
condition that they are still handicapped to frame policies beneficial to
their future generations.
The blind support by America in UNSC and supply of deadly weapons are daring
prove, that Israel is being used by wealth and power-hungry merchants. They
mean profit and care for non.
Israel has a long history of suffering, subjugation, un-certainity, insults
and fear. They are capable of writing a new chapter in History. Hamas,
Hizbullah and right minded Israeli politicians should honestly try to find
solution amicably for the sake of innocent people or remain as what death
and destruction dictates to do.

Israel has killed over 500 people in Lebanon and Palestine in July.
Israel has made 800,000 Lebanese civilians into refugees and
withholds food and water from a million people in Gaza. Rape,
Torture, and Massacre continue every day in Iraq and Afghanistan--
All made possible with our tax money and with the planning and
support of our elected officials. And now they want to expand the war
to Syria and Iran. The US is using tax dollars desperately needed
for education, jobs, and Gulf Coast relief to speed new laser guided
missile systems to Israel. The US government is refusing to engage
in diplomacy that would curtail Israel's brutal assault on the
people of Lebanon. Without US support, Israel could not carry out
these attacks. We cannot let the US government continue to fund death
and destruction in the Middle East. Join us to say . . .

On Saturday 5 August there will be a national emergency demonstration in London calling for an immediate, unconditional ceasefire in Lebanon and Gaza, the end of Israel's attacks and the end of Tony Blair's support for George Bush's wars. Dozens of coaches have already been booked to bring protestors to London. Everyone who is outraged by the barbarism we are witnessing in Lebanon and Gaza should support this demonstration.

George Bush and Tony Blair insist the carnage must continue. They are rushing bunker busting bombs and laser guided missiles to Israel, which will be used to raise much of Lebanon to the ground. The UN describes what is taking place as "horrific". Half of those killed by Israel's bombs have been children (http://tinyurl.com/jq8xo). Gaza has been turned into "a prison with no way in or out, and no protection from an fearsome battery of drones, precision missiles, tank shells and artillery rounds", with once again children being the main victims. The rest of the world demands the slaughter stops now. On Saturday 5 August, we need the biggest possible expression of our disgust over Tony Blair's slavish support for Bush's endless wars and for our demand that Israel's attacks on Lebanon and Gaza end immediately.
