I especially like the part about the # 3 at the Pentagon: Douglas Feith

I especially like the part about the # 3 at the Pentagon. Newsweek/msnbc.com "And Now a Mole" Sept 6." Franklin was known to be one of a tightly knit group of pro-Israel hawks in the Pentagon associated with his immediate superior, William Luti, the hard-charging and impassioned protegé of former House speaker Newt Gingrich. As deputy assistant secretary of Defense for Near East affairs, Luti was a key player in planning the Iraq war. He, in turn, works in the office of Under Secretary Douglas Feith, a career lawyer who, before becoming the Pentagon's No. 3, was a sometime consultant for Likud, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's political party. Officials say they have no evidence that either Feith or Luti had any knowledge of Franklin's discussions with the Israelis."

Maybe "we're" dying to protect their "Zionist Squatters." And at the same time screwing up our old relations with those who supplied our oil in past wars and peace time. Did the Zionists maneuver in to the position we're in today to fight their big wars for Middle East control?

The # 3 at the Pentagon being a Political Consultant for Sharon is a little much. As you cannot serve two masters, Is he a fiduciary for of our troops in the Field, or the Zionist dreams? The magazine also said Franklin was posted at the U.S. Embassy in. Tel Aviv. There are also reports he made visits back to spy land. If we we're smart we would have liberated both Iraq and Palestine, and our troops would have received flowers.

Thank You,

Ronald Douglas Kennedy, USA.

The military tribunals in Guantanamo''

Dear Editor,

The recently started military tribunals at the American military basis in Guantanamo to persecute non-American citizens, who are accused of terrorism, are contrarily as well with the American military legislation as it is to the international judicial standards concerning a fair and independent trial.

In the first place, the distinction between American and non-American citizens is not only discriminative, but also implies in practice lower process-standards for non-American citizens.

In the second place, a military lawyer is appointed for the defence and although the suspect has the right to choose a civilian lawyer, due to the high costs at the expense of the suspect, in the practice this implies a serious restriction on his right to choose his own lawyer.

In the third place, the military authorities have the right to monitor private conversations between the lawyer and his client, which is a serious violation of the internationally acknowledged right on confidentiality between lawyer and client.

In the fourth place, the suspect can be denied to have access to the complete evidence, which is a denial of his basic right to confront the evidence used against him. But the most alarming is the fact that in contrary with the American military legislation, the suspect has no right to appeal to a civilian court, but only to the American Secretary of Defense, which is a flagrant violation of the right on independent jurisdiction.

It is therefore of the most importance that the American authorities apply the basic principles of the international judicial standards concerning a fair and independent trial.

Bush is a Repudiation of the Real American Right: Dump Him

Editor

New York Times

Dear Sir (s):

The televised tragedy in your city known as the Republican National Convention is a completely disgusting travesty to me.  While this personal reaction to the current Mr. Bush's latest coronation is undoubtedly shared by many in America, my own repulsion is perhaps magnified by my past identity as the 36th District Chairman of the Republican Party in King County, Seattle and a twice elected delegate to Texas State Republican Conventions in 1994 and 1996.

What has happened to the Republican Party and our nation's conservatives that there would be such acclamation for a man arguably one of the worst Chief Executives of the United States in the last century, and certainly the worst within my own brief lifetime?  Mr. Bush has turned a $150 billion dollar federal budget surplus into a deficit of between $450 and $550 billion (depending on the figures one reads); he has superintended the largest increase in non-defense related discretionary spending since Lyndon Johnson, and the multi-billion dollar manufacturing trade deficits and outsourcing policies that have cost our nation another 2.7 million manufacturing jobs; his preemptive war with Iraq on false pretenses, which has turned into a no-win catastrophe of never-ending counterinsurgency, is approaching a bill of $200 billion and counting with ongoing loss of life on all sides; and the Bush policy of Presidential amnesty for yet another 12 million ! illegal aliens and the USA Patriot Act--which hastens the demise of every American's civil liberties at the behest of the National Security State--would produce absolute hysteria among Republicans if advocated by a Democratic Presidential incumbent.

This is what awaits Bush's America in the dark days ahead:  More debt, more government, and ongoing adventurism abroad soon to metastasize into war with Iran and the reestablishment of a military draft in the United States.

I strenuously dissent, as should every American conservative who takes limited, Constitutional government and the survivability of our young people seriously.  And I will go to the polls in November in Pennsylvania to exercise a protest vote against Mr. Bush's Leviathan Empire by pulling the lever for Michael Peroutka of the Constitution Party as the next President of the United States.

Mr Carlson, straightgate ministries, and spam

What Mr Carlson failed to mention in his letter at http://tinyurl.com/4c2d5  was that he had sent out spam. He added people to his list without their permission. He harvested their email addresses from web sites and usenet boards in violation of US law. The site is not down due to anything having to do with Israel. If he spams again, complaints will be sent in again, and a new hosting provider will take him down again, or the new hosting provider will be blocked again, or the new hosting provider's upstream will intervene, as happened last time.

The good Reverend Carlson apparently is not a believer in Exodus 20:17. If he persists in coveting his neighbors' bandwidth to send out his advertising message for free, he should anticipate these pitfalls.
