An open letter to anyone who directly kills an innocent man, woman or child Today we see the deliberate kidnapping and possible killing of a woman care worker in Iraq (Margaret Hassan). This woman is a child of Allah/God. She is doing Allah/God's work and a 'human being' has stopped her doing so and decided that she might have to die to further his cause. Add to this the pain and suffering of innocent Palestinians, Israelis, Iraqis and recently Russian schoolchildren.. Let's not forget every other nation throughout the world whose innocent people are the victims of some political cause. Whoever kills an innocent man, woman or child especially those doing Allah/God's work by helping other human beings in need, will condemn themselves to MANY lifetimes of pain and suffering. They will be the judge of their own actions when they meet their maker in death and they will have to atone for the suffering they have brought upon the earth. In fact whoever kills ANY child of Allah/God will have to atone. Any terrorist, political leader, country or organisation that kills innocent people knowingly irrespective whether it was directly or indirectly will suffer the same fate. You are your own judge on death because you are here on earth to help Allah/God create. Only Allah/God has the power over life and death. You will experience what your victims went through and you will walk in the wilderness for a very long time before you will finally be at one with Allah/God. I forgive you because you are also a child of Allah/God, but, sadly, you have let your human conditioning control your spiritual direction in life. Lyn Hendry A child of Allah/God.

Iran Nuclear Program Dear Editor, The negotiations between the US-EU and Iran have avoided including Israeli nuclear capability. It would be wise for Iran to strongly link Israeli nuclear threats to its own program and make this conditional in their negotiations. Iran would have learned from Pakistan’s experiences with India. Had Pakistan been a weak country without nuclear capability, India would have acted the way US had acted in Iraq. Even with conventional weapons, Pakistan cannot match India militarily. Thanks to Pakistan nuclear deterrence, it has kept its sovereignty against attacks from a powerful country. North Korea has shown the world how effective nuclear deterrence is. Not even US dared to attack North Korea other than to hold negotiations. Unless Israel is brought by the world community to address its arsenals of nuclear capability and the need for its nuclear plants there, Iran must never give up its nuclear program. Israeli nuclear threat must be brought into the picture during the negotiations, failing which Iran must possess nuclear technology, including the making of nuclear bombs, as a deterrence against any countries bent on breaching its sovereignty. Semantic Terrorism America first better approach In my recent letter I expressed concerns about foreign influences by the pro-Israel lobby as to our government, $3 billion payments each year to the Jewish state and that 100,000 Israeli citizens are eligible to vote in U.S. elections. A rabbi's letter charged that I am anti-Israel and anti-Semitic, suggested there are no Mossad spies at the Pentagon, and averred Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. If being pro-America equates with being anti-Israel, then so be it. "Semitic" refers to a set of African-Asian languages, not Jews. However, when U.S. policy toward Israel is questioned, Israeli loyalists are as quick to holler anti-Semitism as Rep. Alvin Holmes is to holler racism. Both are examples of semantic terrorism. The Jewish state might be a democracy in theory, but Turkey, which borders Iran, Iraq and Syria, has a republican government that is a superior role model for the Middle East. The United States desperately needs an America-first Congress, White House and court system. It's time for loyal Americans to demand it, starting with Alabama citizens. Kerry's Stolen Honor Dear Editor, Not only did Sinclair Broadcasting’s newscast “Stolen Honor” attempt to trash Kerry’s bid for the Presidency, it distorts history. It was Nixon’s policies that prolonged the war along with corporate interests attempting to steal Vietnamese off-shore oil reserves. Sinclair’s broadcast was a sleazy hit job that violated copyright laws by using pirated film and photos by George Butler, director of “Going Upriver; The Long War of John Kerry,” which documents Kerry’s heroic service and anti-war activities that helped to bring an end to a war which claimed over 47,000 battle deaths. During my student days at the University of New Hampshire, two of my brothers served with honor and I wrote letters to servicemen to keep their spirits up. But I clearly recall stories by certain veterans on campus who openly bragged of killing Vietnamese village children “like ducks at a shooting gallery.” For me Kerry’s testimony before Congress was a sorely needed expose of the truth which was corroborated by reports of war crimes at Mai Lai and elsewhere. As a senator Kerry has been a champion of the middle class and the environment. Kerry exposed the Iran-Contra drugs-for-arms deal and the BCCI Bank drugs laundering scheme involving Noriega. As a reward, he became the chair of the terrorism subcommittee. Kerry’s record is honorable. I wish I could say the same about Bush who lied to us about Iraq and entered his job with a $400 billion surplus which has now turned into the largest deficient in US history.
