Muslim wars?

Dear sir,

I am wondering why are the Muslim peoples of the world involved in every war/conflict currently raging? The Jews do not fight the Christians, nor Hindu's, nor Buddhists, etc.

Why are the Muslims involved in every conflict?

Chechnya vs. Russia, Israel vs. Palestinians, USA vs. Iraq/Afghanistan, India vs. Pakistan, Philippines vs. Abu Sayaf, and North African nations...etc, etc, etc.

Are Muslims unable to live at peace with the other peoples of the world? I do not understand...though I wish to learn...

There is one exception....Northern Ireland....no Muslim involvement there!

WHAT'S HAPPENING TO AMERICAN LEADERSHIP?

A look back, before the turn of New Millennium our World Leaders were so dynamic in their consensus building approach in addressing and resolving problems and challenges of our World. In fact, a world consciousness full of optimism to welcome the New Millennium where in everybody's hearts and minds. Your so lucky to be a witnessed and part of the celebration because it takes another one thousand years to see people around the world celebrating as family of Nations.

As a keen observer of world events and developments, I do recall former President Bill Clinton discussed the America's role in the 21st Century as He sees US as the guiding light in the New Millennium but sad to state, what we are seeing now is the bad light of US Leadership. Let me support my observations;

a) Pres. Bush arrogance complex put America in bad taste with the International Community by misdirecting the war on International Terrorism;

b) The deception made to justify war in Iraq; and, now,

c) The horrible treatment of Prisoners of War.

Even in the domestic front, Pres. Bush committed blunder after blunder by squandering the US funds, counter-productive measures adopted which according to him will stimulate the economy, polluting America is good for business, and the prostitution of National Security Administration through sexed-up intelligence input by shrewd politicians.

Well, as the saying goes; trouble begets trouble and hopefully the American people comes November will kicked Pres. Bush out of the Whitehouse. Kicked by the ballots I mean. And for the Iraqi people, please continue to work for Peace and Unity. Make love not war! purontoy the kid.

Oh the tangled webs we weave, when first we practice to deceive...

You never hear of claims made by the government in late 2002. The Bush administration claimed at the UN, Iraq has weapons of mass destruction Colin Powell puts up over 10 large satellite photos* there are large installations where anthrax, vx gas, mustard gas and other deadly toxins are being produced. We also think they have viles of smallpox. In total, they have over 1000 tons of wmd. Including missiles capable of carrying wmd. We also have evidence they have drone planes that could spread wmd over America. We have strong evidence Iraq tried to buy enriched Uranium from Niger. We also have strong evidence that Iraq was connected with 911 and currently host al-queda terrorist camps.

*Flashback to present time* There are no weapons of mass destruction. We can't find 1 trace of any biological toxin. We have yet to uncover an al-queda training camp. We have yet to find ANY evidence that al-queda was in cooperation with saddam hussein. We have yet to find Osama hiding in saddam's rectum. We have yet to find any working fighter jets, matter of less drone planes capable of reaching America. We now know that Iraq never ever got enriched Uranium from Niger.

So when we come to find out none of what Powell told the UN was true, Bush starts playing the Democracy game. "We had to take out Saddam to install democracy in Iraq" *bush thinks to self, hm.. supporting him..giving in millions of dollars..wmd..sending Rumsfeld to Iraq to shake Saddam's hand..no..that never happened..daddy never did that..saddam is just an evil towel head..God bless Jesus thank you*

So now we occupy Iraq. Which is what it is, an illegal occupation of foreign soil. Our soldiers are dying at a rate of 10 per day.(175 in the actual invasion.. 750 during the occupation..100 within the last 3 months). These soldiers are in Iraq to promote "peace and democracy". I guess they are also there to promote sodomy and castration via battery acid.

Then you have the argument that these are terrorists that deserve torture. If I knew these people were "terrorists" which were trying to kill Americans, then I wouldn't feel totally bad for them. But they are not. Estimates are that up to 75% of the prisoners in the jail are innocent. There are rampant reports of sadistic sexual torture on boys as young as 12 that were taken off the street.

Yes, I am sure this will stamp out terrorism and make us safer. Yes, I am proud to be an American.

Hamid Bakhsheshi Hits the Nail on the Head

My good friend, Hamid Bakhsheshi, hits the nail on the head in terms of the disgrace and PR disaster for the United States which presents itself in the controversy over the Abu Ghraib prison photos. The pictoral depictions of American violations of the Geneva Convention in the gross mistreatment and degradation of Iraqi prisoners further damages the Bush Administration and its Neo-Con prosecutors of the preemptive war and inept military occupation of Iraq.
