At exactly 6 am, I got this weird call -- sounded like the same guy who called me last year with the death threat. "Is this Jane Stillwater?" Yes. "This is Al Jazeerah. We want to award you our annual Jew-Hating Award because of the work you are doing."

"I answered, "But I don't hate Jews!" But he had already hung up. Don't you hate it when people are too cowardly to even wait for you to defend yourself? And of course the guy's number was blocked so I couldn't call him back. AND I had to wake up one whole hour earlier just because of him!

But what I really don't understand is how criticism of George Bush could be construed as "Jew hating". I never hate groups of people. I only strongly dislike individual killers and "evildoers".

Arab Media and the Assassination of Shaikh Ahmed Yassin

Hello. I was rudely jerked awake by this awful news this morning. I have been so upset I am pacing the house. The size of the monstrous thing the Isrealis have done is heart sickening.

It is clear that the Israelis control the major media. They are doing this in this killing. I have read an article at another Arabic site that says a scientific study says the Israelis are better at manipulating the media than arab peoples.

It is time for that to change if the Arab people want to resist genocide.

Every article I have read that has a picture of Sheik Yassin is a close up of his face. I think this is a mistake. It is a picture for reverence and love. It does nothing to help the Arab people. I think Sheik Yassin would like even his death to be a problem for the Israelis.

I would suggest that you and any other Arab organizations you might contact in your daily routine post a picture of Sheik Yassin in his wheelchair, clearly showing he was a quadriplegic.

Most of the west does not know this. With the picture of the face of Sheik Yassin only, they will never know. A big picture, as big as the one on your front page now, clearly, no mistaken, showing that Sheik Yassin was a wheelchair bound quadriplegic is going to bring all Arabs sympathy. No normal person can condone such a horrendous murder.

I would also suggest that news articles be written to reinforce the idea the Sheik Yassin was a holy man who had just left the door of his church after prayers when he was killed.

If the Arab press can get across to average western citizens that Sheik Yassin was like their local christian preacher, and the preacher had been killed after services, right in front of the church, in a way that utterly defaced the bodies of this holy man, I think you will gain a lot of converts to the side of peace with Islam.

Arab peoples cannot blame western average citizens for apathy if the Arab peoples cannot even get together a media operation that shows them visually that Sheik Yassin was a wheelchair bound quadriplegic.

I hope my feelings about the situation have not come thru the email too much. I do not want to burden you on such a sad day.

Dear Editor,

Jesus was condemned to death by the priests for blasphemy. Under Roman law, all death penalties are automatically reviewed by the Roman governor. No court can put some one to death without his agreement. Had the priests ascribed some penalty other than death, the matter would never have gone to Pontius Pilate for review.

The question is: What was the blasphemy that Jesus committed?

Jesus taught that God loves all mankind equally. The Greek and the Jew. The priests insisted that he be put to death, but were unwilling to articulate the reason; other than declaring that there was a grievous blasphemy. There's no suggestion that Jesus had any political interests. As a matter of fact at an earlier time, when asked "He said give unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is God's" . Pontius Pilate was unable to find fault with Jesus even after extensive questioning.

Origins of Zionist policies of ethnic cleansing

There's a strong notion that one of the crimes against Germany that has not been given enough attention is the terrible ethnic cleansing of Germans from Eastern Europe at the end of World War II. It's true that hundreds of thousands of people died in expulsions from Sudetenland, Poland, and elsewhere. This aspect of German suffering has not been given enough attention. But neglected in all of that, I believe, is the reality that the first destruction of ethnic German communities in Eastern Europe was not done by the victorious Red Army, by the Czechs or the Poles, but by Himmler. He was the one who uprooted the ethnic Germans from the Baltic and the Ukraine.

Very clear in all this was that in Nazi ideology, individuals had no choice about where they wanted to live. They were part of a blood community, and they belonged to the German race. Hitler and Himmler would dispose of them as they chose. They could be picked up and moved around and placed wherever it suited the Nazi regime.

But this is exactly the policy of the Zionists to force Jews to Israel - the Mossad terror against Jews in Egypt and Iraq and elsewhere in the 50s+, forcing them to flee PLUS the massive propaganda campaign to convince Soviet Jews to emigrate to Israel from 1970+.
