America’s “Free Press” Torpedoes Aristide by Mike Whitney

(Al-Jazeerah, March 10, 2004)

"The media has responded with such frightening uniformity that even skeptics must be shocked."

A powerful article that will hardly if ever see the light of day in the major newspapers in my country.  I have a small WEB page for local news and I have been astounded at the lack of coverage and the unconcern about our media when this administration takes action that if taken by any other nation would be be considered a breach of international law. Our nation has invaded Afghanistan, Iraq and now has taken over Haiti by kidnapping its lawfully elected President and imprison him in central Africa, and is involved in a possible coup in  Equatorial Guinea and not only is our press silent I do not hear much for other country news media.

I have tried to alert people to what is going on by doing what I could on my WEB site but again I also have gotten very little response. www.cyberspaceadventures.com

Here is what I posted: Many of us wish there were more reporters, like you, willing to challenge what is now taking place in our nation. (USA).

Thanks,

Bill Weber

Spain's Tragedy Brings Good Results... Already.

For those paying attention to the tragic and violent loss of life in Spain this week, it is nothing short of being outright confusing to most. One can only imagine what it's like for Spaniards. I can only try to relate as someone who lived only blocks away from the WTC on September 11th, 2001 and as someone who worked down there for some days after.

We've all been hearing things like...

"It was the Basque ETA who did it! No, al Qaida did it! No, it was the ETA! But look, a white van was conveniently found with Islamic material in it! But no, it was the ETA"!

Which was it? Weren't there even brief reports stating it was a cooperative action between the ETA and al Qaida?

Conflicting reports, public anger, confusion, distress, and all right before the lead-up to a major national election. All too convenient? To whom? To what end?

SAUDI Female Scientists Shatter the Myth (Aljazeerah.info, March 14, 2004).

So it's nothing but a "myth". And these female scientists have really "shatter"ed it. Amazing. --

Saudi Arabia education

The question on the abaya women wearing in Saudi Arabia ... the number of single women is an indicator that Saudi ... achieved.
