Hypocrites Among Us

Dear Editor,

When the “terrorists” beheaded the American hostage, the whole world, including the Muslim world expressed their outrage and shock, and they are called heartless and barbaric. But when houses each with 20 old women and children get blown apart, with pieces of innocent fleshes strewn everywhere, this is not heartless and barbaric, but a mistake and the world kept silent. Anyone with any reasonable answer?

Saddam Hussein's Trial

Saddam Hussein's trial I expect will be from July onwards. Personally I hope he repents the torture and imprisonment of his countrymen/women. I think he should be tried in the International Court for this. However GWB has also tortured and imprisoned so he should be tried as well. Saddam did many good things in Iraq for which he is to be commended. It's a pity they had to be tainted by his harsh treatment of some Iraqis. I do not think he should be executed as if God exists (and I believe he does) he has the only right to take Human life.

Since the final 911 commission hearings, the news has focused entirely on Cheney's claim of al-Qaeda ties to Iraq. This is a total red-herring non-issue. The undeniable proof lies in the lack of response from NORAD, yet the media refuses to even look at it.
