Sovereignty and Iraq
Iraq has a sovereignty or rather an illusion of it
because US forces are still there. Iraq did have real sovereignty before
the invasion and GWB etc stole it and then over a year later give a
paltry version of it back. If the US is serious about sovereignty then
their armed forces have to leave.

Chirac’s Rationale, Arab News (Al-Jazeerah, 1 July 2004) I read your above article. Needless to say, thanks for that. But your efforts to display French's snub against us is void, they just DON'T care... Giscard d'Estaing , former French President said it openly, the biggest concern is our religion... And I can't understand how EU is defending the values of indiscrimination, racial and religious tolerance at the same time, teaching 'lessons', all over the world, that loudly.. This is a duality...Double standard.. And you just waste ink when you try to demonstrate that , my friends. Aykut Uz, Turk in UK

Repeated Bombing of Falluja It is completely mind-boggling about the method used by the US military to try to kill Abu Musab al-Zarqawi by using bombs. Imagine going after a criminal in the US with rockets and bombs and fired from a distance. To capture a single person, the US would have no choice but to capture him using ground soldiers. This would mean that some US soldiers would be injured or killed in their ground pursuit of the target. But the soldiers are meant to fight and capture or kill the enemy or be captured and killed by their enemy. Instead innocent Iraqis are killed by the dozens and they are not even close to hitting the target. How many houses were claimed to be the safe haven for the intended target and later only to find out that innocent Iraqi citizens were the victims. How many times do we have to hear they nearly got the target but never did? What the military is doing is to take a gamble where hopefully one lucky strike hits the target. But then how many unlucky hits would there be before hitting this lucky target. Falluja is not Las Vegas if the US army ever realize that. The US army should discard the belief that they have the best intelligence and surgically precise weapons to get to a single moving target. This has proven ineffective and is deadly and destructive for the innocent Iraqi citizens. Fauzi Shahab, Malaysia
Bush, Kerry, and Israel When it comes to the American endless assistance and protection of the Zionist Israeli racist state, George W Bush and John Kerry are not much different. Republicans and Democrats are IN FULL AGREEMENT. It means that both parties have the same agenda of oppressing and suppressing the Palestinian people, the indigenous people of the Holy Land, in favour of the racist, colonialist, Nazi-like Israeli state and its continued aggression against the Palestinian people. Hilmi Salem, Canada.
Where did all the Iraq money go ? German TV (Monitor) showed July 1: the money in Iraq was total of 17.8 billion dollars - the money left now is only 2.9 billion dollars. US CPA has used up 17.6 billion dollars - won't say what for and also has given contacts to US companies, especially in the past weeks, using Iraq money. Iraq Revenue Watch is not able to check into the contracts. No transparency - which is a breech of the UN resolution. People are saying Saddam was corrupt - but the CPA was worse. The money is badly needed to rebuild the country. Freedom of the Press in Iraq is still not happening. Still being censored by US as well as the speech given by Saddam. This was also blocked out by the US. While Bush is campaigning with capture of Saddam. Iraq is more unsafe than ever. No one in Iraq knows where the oil is going - 60 million dollars per day in oil. But with so much sabotage now, no one knows how much is being pumped. There are 4 rings of security around Oil fields (like Kirkuk) and 20 000 GI´s are securing the area. Angela Badelt, Germany
