Greetings, PLEASE continue the fine work, which allows those of us in the US to receive non-US/Zionist slanted news. Jeff Hunt
It is important that the World media
try to cover the U.S. Primaries and General Election as the U.S.
media is predominantly controlled by the Neo-Cons in the Whitehouse.
Please make every effort to cover the 2004 election in as much depth as
possible. The survival of our Democracy depends on the world media
covering this election.
The U.S. right-wing Media Propagandists are doing
their best to insure that the weakest Democratic candidate will be the
nominee. The primary practitioners of right-wing propaganda are Fox
News (a.k.a. Faux News), CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, NBC, Washington Times, New
York Post, and to a slightly lesson extent, ABC, CBS, Washington Post,
and the New York Times.
First they were reporting all Howard Dean and even
contributing money to his campaign to the maximum amount allowed. Then
when Dean stated looking weak, they started pushing Kerry in New
Hampshire and Edwards in South Carolina. The man they fear the most is
Wesley Clark as he would run the strongest campaign against Bush. When
they aren't ignoring Clark, they are attacking him. Check out today's
issue (Jan 27) of the Wall Street Journal for an editorial by Peggy
Noonan. It is a total smear of Clark.

WMD in Iraq? It IS pitiable to watch, the way the Western news media (mouthpiece for war - governments (criminals)) is trying to level down the priority of WMD for starting the bombardment of Iraq. It IS and it WAS, from the beginning, a phony/illegal war and shall be prosecuted / written to the history books accordingly whatever the collaborationists are muttering. JLJensen Nr.Nebel, Denmark

Ending the democracy deficit in the Muslim world By Richard Haass, in The Straits Times, Singapore It is difficult to believe any altruistic motives that could be attributed to the US efforts to promote democracies in Arab/Muslim world. Americans mince no words spelling out that all their policies and strategies are strictly in the best interest of their own country. America's best interest in dealings with other countries is to have 'friendly governments' which is much simpler if the countries are ruled by dictators. They have only to tackle the one on the top. They are not supposed to bother what the people think or demand. Examples are galore, but Pakistan is more obvious one. So under such circumstances, why HAAS is lamenting the democracy deficit in Muslim world? The only plausible answer could be that given other experiences around the world, US strategists may feel, it is much more easy and less obvious, when the US sponsored and managed 'mass movements' usher in a regime change. Georgia recently and Serbia earlier are the best example of a democratic 'regime change', all for the benefit of the US imperial power. The theory and practice of US regime change should be the first order of study for the third world, to protect their society and their freedom from the excesses of the rampaging Americans.
