Famous Quotes about War&Peace #23 "See, free nations are peaceful nations. Free nations don't attack each other. Free nations don't develop weapons of mass destruction." George W. Bush Sent By Charles A Beers
Rantissi Remembered Lost in Battle for Palestinian Victory* By Genevieve Cora Fraser
Zionists destroy our lives Because we fight To put an end to tragedy The multi-faceted suffering Of the Palestinian people Zionists continue To destroy our lives for no reason But that we demand our legitimate rights If the suffering stops We have achieved victory
We, the Palestinians Have been engaged in a war The Zionists have imposed on us 1948 They left their countries To occupy ours And imposed the war on themselves By their crimes They create suffering Slaughtered thousands upon thousands Aggressively Unjustly Exiled millions from their land The exiled will return To their land To their cities To their villages Though they are imprisoned They will be set free
I do not know When I will die But please remember The enemy’s might Does not achieve victory The unjust collapse While appearing strong The strong will Of Palestinian youth Is mightier Than the Zionist soldier Thousands of times stronger The battle Has never been about weapons If it were so The Zionist would have conquered By destruction and terror
Win victory By protecting the children from slaughter Win victory By executing plans Force the enemy To leave a piece of land Without giving up our rights Victory Is exposing the evil Face of Zionism to the world Victory Is regaining our stolen rights Victory Is putting an end To the suffering Of Palestine
Based on a conversation with Abdel Aziz Rantisi one day before his assassination, as published in Bitter Lemons 19/04/2004.
VOTER FRAUD IN FLORIDA I'm just angry that so many in this country are still buying into the fraud that, if you want to, you can decide who will be President, etc. I think it's very important that people in this country are aware of the fraud(s) of the past election(s). I also am reminded a quote from Arianna Huffington when she asked Jesse Jackson why Al Gore did not pursue the disenfranchisement of Black voters in Florida. His reply, according to her was "He said he didn't want to play the race card." I could have laughed, if this didn't make me feel like crying. Her interview with Jackson did not get a lot of media attention, but was picked up on one of the Black websites. The one great thing about our system of government is that in November, ALL Americans who want to can vote to elect the American president for the next four years, their Congressmen for the next two years and their senators for the next six years. THE ABOVE STATEMENT BY ONE OF YOUR WRITERS DOES NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE FRAUD THAT TOOK PLACE IN FLORIDA. NEARLY 90,000 + VOTERS WERE "SCRUBBED" FROM THE VOTING ROLES ILLEGALLY. AT LEAST ONE-HALF WERE BLACK. Below is an excerpt from Buzzflash.com. This info is also available on Salon.com and many other Internet sites. Barbara Fellows Maryland
Support Ralph Nader, the Only Candidate
Committed to a Strategy of Peace in the General Election
If only Kerry and Bush debate the war and occupation we can be sure of the result: war and occupation. We need your financial and volunteer support NOW to make sure Ralph Nader can carry the peace message through the general election. Visit http://votenader.org/contribute/index.php to contribute today. And, visit our ballot access page to help Ralph on the ballot in your state. Today, Ralph Nader released his three-step approach to rapidly withdraw the United States including military, private military contractors, oil industry and other corporations from Iraq. Nader noted: "Every day the US military remains in Iraq we imperil US security, drain our economy, ignore our nation’s domestic needs and prevent democratic self-rule from developing in Iraq." The approach also includes the immediate formation under UN auspices, of a peace keeping force from neutral nations with such experience and from Islamic countries; support of Iraqi self rule with free and fair elections being held as soon as possible under international supervision; and continued US humanitarian aid to rebuild the country from the illegal war and the long-term US-led economic sanctions against Iraqi civilians that resulted in tremendous damage to people, their children and the Iraqi infrastructure. Declare Your Independence... Vote Nader <http:// www.votenader.org /> Instead
if killing and destroying - look at the beauty of nature and if you
truly see - you would never think of killing or destroying again ! Angela Badell
