Although Yasser Arafat is weak, he is still symbolic of our years of struggle against Zionist aggression and oppression.  But the Israelis are really stupid if they seriously think that by killing Arafat, that the Palestinian problem will be resolved at long last. Sharon wants to settle a personal score before HE runs out of time. They are so wrong and God help us all when that tragedy occurs, for it will happen- Americans know it as do the Europeans and British and the yellow belly Arab/Islamic  leaders who will do NOTHING to prevent it.

The Bush Administration has benefited significantly from the continuing war on Muslims. It has endeared them to the ravid anti Islam leaders ( like Robertson, Grahm and Faldwell) and allowed them to pursue an aggressive, militaristic agenda that puts the world's dwindling resources in the grips of American industry. Right wing radio, the propaganda organ of the Republican party, has turned out to be an effective tool in marshalling public support to the cause of invading Muslim lands. No one should harbor any doubts that if the President really wanted the daily slander against Muslims on "talk radio" to stop, he could do it. Instead, he allows his minions to do their handiwork by demonizing an enemy that he finds useful. It could be that Bush and his colleagues are able to control the Genie they've unleashed on the world and acheive their long range objectives, but there are reasons to be doubtful. The Administration's plans depend heavily on manipulating information and deceiving the public. If his trip to the Far East is any indication, Mr. Bush may be losing that battle.

Donors pledges for Iraq reconstruction

Dear Editor,

Hopefully, this isn't another Bush "Bait-and-Switch" scam, to bribe other nations through the back-door using tax-payer dollars, in order to score some sordid propaganda coup by the Bushies!!!

The Donors Conference has resulted in nations pledging between $15-$20 Billion in aide (loans & grants), in addition to the $20 Billion stolen from U.S. taxpayers for the re-building of Iraq. Initially, the world community spurned the Bush Regime's requests-- but significant pressure was brought to bear upon nations to give money (What will this cost the American taxpayer?).

The donor nations' contributions will be managed through a trust fund, independent of the U.S.A., and under the control of the United Nations and the World Bank. Hopefully, this will ensure that the resources are used to aide the horrific humanitarian crisis in Iraq, resulting from the Bush Regime's illegal and immoral incursion and the disastrous aftermath, and not squandered on "corporate-take-all" robber-barons, as is the case with our U.S.A. taxpayer's funding.

The total contributions of $40 Billion by the USA and other nations still fall short of the $56 Billion required according to the World Bank, for reconstruction of Iraq. Perhaps, if the Bushies and their corporate war-profiteers would charge normal prices, instead of price-gouge to swill on riches-- this might help-out the Iraqi people.

"We the People" look forward to reviewing the spread of donations by country; the consequential aide by the U.S.A. to each country in return for their assistance; and, how much of the monies are loans versus grants. Let us hope that America's low-income, middle-class and fixed-income retirees, who have been swindled and looted by Bush to enrich the fabulously wealthy, will not also be making massive bribes to other nations in return for some sort of propaganda victory for Bush. Hasn't Bush already squandered us into enough record-level deficits & debts that will bankrupt our future?

Dear Editor:

Your piece, The New Mafia, was one of the most perfect descriptions of the ZionistsI have ever read. For the record I am not a racist. But how come the media (ABC, CBS, NBC, ETC.) never reported that the guy that was to kill one of our leaders died the day before he was to go to court?

There are two things that puzzle me. One, they seem to have people on their side like Pat Robinson, and many conservatives. However, when they vote they are extremely liberal. In fact, there was a Zionist who I was friendly with and I asked him who he was gonna vote for and he said Jessie Jackson and I laughed and said come on really and he again said Jessie Jackson, well it was funny as hell because the third time I asked and he told me I realized he was serious. Are the Zionists left wing or right wing? Or is that like asking if the oil companies are democrat or republican when in fact they give money to both parties. If you could answer that I would appreciate it.

Second, the wall being built I really don't understand what all the fuss is about. If they build the wall the Zionists can't cry suicide bomber and the suicide bomber can not bomb thus giving the Zionists a reason to tear down their houses.

I would't know what I know now if it wasn't for the Jeff Rinse web site where I saw your letter.

Personally I don't vote, ones as bad as the others. The president is just a puppet for the rich. When I was a kid maybe eight years old I asked my dad how come he didn't vote and he said ahh, they're all crooks. I did not understand what he meant but again I was only about eight years old. My dad was born in 1898.

One thing you got to admit about George W., not everyone can get into a guerilla war in the desert. Could he be the fool guy who spent us into a recession? He doesn't really seem too smart and is the perfect fall guy.

If you could tell me if the Jews are liberal or conservative and what all the fuss about the wall is I would appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Jim Hady

Editor: The Wall that the Sharon government is building aims at annexing more Palestinian lands. It's not security as they claim. Security can only come by the Israeli withdrawal from the Palestinian territories. As long as the Israeli occupation continues, Palestinians like all nations in history will resist it. click on the photo of the wall on this page to get more information.

I have no statistics about how Zionists or Islamists or evangelicals vote but Zionists are more likely to vote for candidates who are strong supporters of Israeli policies, irrelevant of what party he or she belongs to.
