Iman (Belief) In Allah: The Main Source Of Alternative Medicine And Psychosomatics
By Ali Al-Hail
Modern
medicine in its commonly, popular modus operandi around the globe nowadays,
is apparently, demonstrated by professionals in the field to have had a
limit to which it could do to cure patients by the will of Allah (Almighty
God). As, medical doctors are merely, means have made available by Allah
but, to cure, or not to cure rests only, with Allah's will. It's another
force of Allah's ad nauseam forces. Yet,
Allah denotes that, a human mind has 'this' much to do. And a capability of
a human being will always be inadequate. This works as, a constant reminder
from Allah (Almighty God) that, human beings all, are weak. Hence; "you
will permanently be in a desperate need to Allah." (Chapter 22: 14)
"So, dare you not take things for granted." (Chapter 14: 96) Said
Allah in the Holy Qur'an. Since,
the discovery of Aspirin until the time of writing Allah has consistently,
shown humanity that, the more they think they become to know with the will
of Allah, the more Allah shows them how their works will forever, be
incomplete. Perhaps the flue, and the HIV aids viruses, both illustrate
clearly, this subject matter. Allah
says in the Holy Qur'an, addressing humanity: "The knowledge that, you
have been given (by Allah) is so little." (Chapter 15: 85)
Consequently, Allah directs creatures' instincts to search for another
method of treatment. Allah
says: "Didn't they (humanity) search in the earth, to recognize what
Allah had created." (Chapter 21: 9) Thus, Alternative Medicine which is
one of Allah's forces, has recently, been the pickup of many people
World-wide. Allah
says: "Only Allah who is aware of how many are they Allah's
forces." (Chapter 29: 31) Allah compels humanity to think: "Don't
you think." (Chapter 7: 50), "And from within yourselves. Cannot
you realize?." (Chapter 26: 21) Additionally,
Allah demands from humanity to travel throughout the earth, to renew,
improve, and introduce to humanity new findings. Allah says: "We Allah
(Almighty God) will show them (those arrogant who presume that they know it
all) our wonders on the horizons, and within themselves." (Chapter 25:
53; Shaikh Abdulhamied Al-Zeidani, interviewed by Al Jazeera TV on
discovering an aids' medicine, April 2nd, 2007.) Because,
the fundamental task of Allah's superior creature i.e., the human being is,
to become Allah's successor "caliph" on earth. To fulfill such an
affiliation of succession 'caliphate' entails the successor to continually,
construct not to destruct. Allah says addressing the angels: " I am
assigning a successor on earth. They said (Allah's angels) will you assign
who is going to corrupt the earth, and kill innocents, and we obey and holy
you. Allah said: I know what you don't know." (chapter 1: 29) Having
clarified that, Alternative Medicine can be defined as; a method of treating
human beings by using two means; organic grass, and leaves in their original
forms e.g., the Damascus' rosy flower used to cure cancer with the will of
Allah (Al Jazeera TV, June 8th, 2007), and by using spiritual
values based upon Iman (belief) in Allah that Allah provides, and Allah
takes away. However, the latter is observably, said to have been more
effective compared to the former as it's the foundation for Psychosomatic
Medicine". Accordingly,
Alternative Medicine is concerned with 'Psychosomatics'. 'Psychosomatics'
are defined as; that 80-85% of human physiological diseases are
psychologically, related. Therefore, it's concerned with linking emotions
with diseases. This needless to say involves certain psychoanalytical
procedures (Thomas N. Wise, The Journal
of Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry Official Journal of the It
has nevertheless, to be noted that, the term "psychology" is
referred to here in the same way the Greek adopted it as; every single
aspect of a human being, both internally, and externally. Arguably, diseases
such as; Cancer, Tuberculoses (T.B.), whose symptoms are believed to be
caused by partly, physiological reasons, but mostly, by emotional conditions
resulted from psychologically, related reasons. Obsession
with modern medicine has deceptively, led the field of medicine for decades,
to neglect considering Alternative Medicine, and Psychosomatics from even
hypothetical perspectives. Though Modern medicine helped
peoples recover from many diseases, and eradicated so much suffering
in their lives, in certain cases it had to give up and surrender to Allah's
will. Amongst these cases are the fits (which is a developed degree of
migraine), cancer, and HIV aids virus Many
argue that, the increase of profit-making medicine created (to cite an
example) a market of illusions about drugs, and pills. This view exemplifies
the flue virus anti-biotic that, retailed in big prices albeit, it doesn't
particularly, cure as much as it gives a false impression to the patient
that, it does. The
flue virus is another tool of Allah's forces. It's a sign of how could human
medicine be restricted, and completely, handicapped before the endless
capability of Allah, the creator. Allah says: "And above every
scientist that, who knows more." (Chapter13
: 76).
It's
generally, argued that, negative feelings, such as, anxiety, depression,
anger, guilt, hatred, envy, jealousy, and bitterness which are so not
uncommon globally, on both levels, individually, and collectively, are
responsible for these diseases. Other factors such as; food in terms of its
diet, and nutrition people have, and the environment in which they live are
assumed to be merely, contributory. Malaria
has to be singled which is increasingly, expanding in It
doesn't seem groundless that, racism, internal societal unrest, civil wars,
invasions and wars inflicted by a stronger state upon a weaker one are with
varying degrees share a stake out of the aforesaid negative emotions (The
author, in a lecture to American men and women in uniform, inside the
American Military Base in the state of Qatar: Doha, August 20th,
2005.) As
a result, these actions are a reflection of what may be termed as a
"psychosomatic disorder" (See for instance, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychosomatic).
Allah
says: "Die of your bitterness." (Chapter 4: 119) Since Allah
(Almighty God) is the creator of humanity, and everything else within earth,
and beyond this verse of the Qur'an ought to be (if not must) verifies to
humanity that, negative feelings do kill, or at least, communicate a disease
to a human being. Psychosomatically,
speaking it's extensively, debated that, if a human being genuinely, smiles
to everybody indiscriminately (regardless who the person is), she\he in
fact, would protect herself\himself from a physiological disease. The
more she\he smiles in the same manner, the more the remaining bits of a
disease-to become or more would be dislodged, and would disappear in the
outer air. The prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him (PBUH) says: "your
smiling in your brother's face is rewarded by Allah." (Sunen Al-Termithey:
189) In
Islamic terms - as it was since Prophet Abraham PBUH(), through Moses (PBUH),
Jesus (PBUH), and other Allah's prophets - the greeting, Allah had asked
humanity to greet ach other with is: Assalamo Alaikom (Peace Be Upon You).
In Muslim societies, its not uncommon to observe people delivering this (PBUY)
greeting many times, and in different circumstances. It,
from Islamic point of view strengthens ties, and respect amongst people.
Also, it makes the greeter, and the greeted upon feel that, they are all
sealed with love, and surrounded with safety, and security. Allah said: If
you were greeted, respond with a better greeting, or else, just
respond." The prophet Mohammed (PBUH) said: "Spread Assalam (the
peace greeting)."(chapter 5: 86).
This
Hadith (The Prophet's delivery) and other Hadiths do have also, traces in
old, and new testaments. Moreover, the prophet (PBUH), in the same way his
predecessor Moses (PBUH), Jesus
(PBUH), and other Allah's prophets advised people to take care of soft
livered creatures e.g., cats , dogs and other pets. He says: "you will
be rewarded by Allah, for taking a good care of soft livered
creatures." (Sahih Muslim: 4162). These
remedies that, emanate from Allah's and all his prophets including Allah's
final prophet, Mohammed (PBUH) transform A human mind into a free zone
disease. This notion in
psychosomatics is established on a premise that, the healthier is the mind,
the healthier is the body. A
human being who believes for certain that, Allah gives, and takes away
suppose not to hate, envy, getting jealous, getting depressed, and so forth.
If she\he does, this would mean that, her\his belief is weak. These
conceived destructive emotions 'psychosomatics'
firmly, believe that, they cause a variety of physiological
diseases. Just Imagine a person
who carries on living with barrels of hatred, bitterness, envy, depression,
jealousy, and greed inside him\her. How
could not she\he develop a physiological disease?
Psychosomatics suggest that, the more are persons of this like in a
society, the more is polluted a society is bound to be. To
a degree, this type of human pollution is presumed to become more harmful
than greenhouse gasses, emissions, and
carbon dioxide. On the
contrary, an open minded attitude functions like sunshine, and fresh air
entering continually, into the mind playing the role of a ventilation.
Such a person's possibility to catch physiological illnesses is
thought to be extremely, slim. Such a person is a believer in Allah (almighty God). Since she\he acknowledges that, Allah provides, and Allah takes away by means, or otherwise. As, Allah is the owner of means therefore, Allah doesn't need means to give creatures, or take away from creatures. Allah gives for a wisdom, and Allah takes away for a wisdom of which humanity cannot be aware. Because, Allah created humanity, Allah thus, knows better than them where their interests lay.
