No more tears

No more pain,

We have our home back

Now everything’s the same.

No more guns

No more bombs,

No more suffering

That’s all gone.

Come out all

Young and old,

We have our freedom

That’s what I’ve been told.

No more losses

That we must endure;

We finally have our peace

That is so pure.

I walk on the land

That is naturally mine,

The land that I grew up in

My home Palestine.

The war is over

As I just came to realize,

I jump around with glee

As tears of joy stream down my eyes.

I watch the Palestinian flag being waved in the air

But it really could not be seen,

Then as I turn around and find no body there,

I realized

"Oh Allah, it was just a dream"
